“Just ate at Waldo Cafe for the first time on a “busy” Monday Memorial Day Holiday. Henri had the staff all working in unison, from the front desk, to taking orders, keeping our drinks full, to the delicious breakfast food. It was a pleasure to see everyone working as a team, something many places lack today. The customer service was also exceptional, every staff member had a smile on their face, and genuinely made you feel special..!“

“A quaint little diner that focuses on good service and great food. I had the #15 a chicken fried steak with a layer of biscuits, eggs, and hash browns smothered with gravy. It was absolutely divine, and I never felt like it was a heavy meal. Hurry in they close at 2pm when they're open!“

“All I can say is, “whoa”! I have to start with the fact that they had the BEST German Chocolate Cake I’ve ever tasted outside of Germany! Fluffy and the perfect level of sweetness!
They are very personable, as if they’ve know you your whole life. My burger and fries was delicious. I can’t wait to go back for work lunch!“

“I would just like to say that the people that work at the Denny's in Raytown are some of the nicest, people I have met in a while! And it always smells so good in there!it's very sad that they don't have as much help as they need, because there are wonderful wonderful restaurant and crew! And thank you for letting me and at closing for an emergency! LOL your devoted doordasher, Larissa!“

“Service was Amazing! Kathy went over and beyond. The food was great I had the berry french toast slam and he had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Love the fact Kathy made sure the coffee was fresh. Becky and Jessica also were amazing. Any time they passed our table they always spoke to us and asked if we needed anything. Paul did an amazing job cooking everything was wonderful. Highly suggest giving them a shot. Save some room for the cheesecake it is good.“

“just tried it for the first time...got double cheeseburger...onion rings...and peanut butter shake...burger was super juicy...soft bun...onion rings tasted just like I like crispy and oily....shake rich and full of real peanut butter flavor nothing artificial...greasy deliciousness! definitely a once in awhile treat..looking forward to trying other things as well..great service...highly recommend will be back!“
