It was like stepping back into a 1920's speak easy. The bartender was excellent and they served us amazing food from the restaurant in the hotel.

We waited 70 minutes for our dinner. Potatoes were ice cold, steaks were mediocre. Our appetizer came out after 50 minutes..the nachos were cold and soggy.

Bad service, probably part of being subsidiary to a hotel clientele that rather stays indoor than step outside. Music stops one hour before closing so you feel like you should leave… I wouldnt bother to try

One of the best server / bartenders ever she kept an eye on us at our table continually replenished our drinks and served us a great pork chop with mushroom gravy and brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes we had an outstanding evening in the drum room obtw the old fashioned is fantastic

I always love coming here. The drinks are top notch and the food is great. The guy that runs the bar is usually doing it on his own, so if they are busy, give yourself a little time, It's all worth the wait.
We were in town for a convention and needed a place for a “drop in” happy hour. The Drum Room was perfect for our small group. A couple of days before our event, we popped in for some reconnaissance. Dylan, the server, answered our questions and helped us make a plan for food. We had dinner that night and the entrees were great! The day of our happy hour, Adam the bartender was patient, friendly, and accommodating. The drinks were great, the food was very good , and all of it was reasonably priced. The next time I’m in KC, I’m staying at the Hilton and eating and drinking at the Drum Room!
