First time here, decided to try somewhere new for taco Tuesday. It was DELICIOUS! The service was spectacular, options were plentiful, and each of our orders came out perfect. Menu items are a lot more affordable than the surrounding Mexican restaurants, and the portions are huge. Drinks taste handmade, as opposed to from a mix high in sugar. Highly recommend choosing El Maguey for your next Mexican craving.

El Maguey, Whyyyyy? Upon Walking In We Noticed The Restaurant Was Hustling And Bustling For A Friday Night This Was Absolutely Fine! We Waited To Be Greeted And Were Seated Quickly. My Husband And I Had Our Eye On The Margarita Flight (Pictured) We Selected 4 Flavors And Were Surprised That The Flight Was Not As Pictured And The Size Of Shot Glasses. This Was Disappointing But My Husband And I Just Looked At The Positive, At Least We Got To Try A Few Flavors. The Margs Were Very Good!! We Ordered The El Toriado, Fajita Mix And Queso Fundido. Our Queso Was Forgotten And Our Entrees Came Out. I Reminded The Server About The Queso And This Was Quickly And Kindly Addressed. Our Food Per Usual Was Hot And Enjoyable But Noticeably Less Seasoned Than Any Other Time. It Was Hard To Catch The Server To Order Anything Else But Once My Husband Was Finally To Catch Him, He Ordered Another Marg To Remedy The Flight Fiasco And Was Happy. I Loved The Casual Vibe, Impeccable Service With High Quality Food From El Maguey In The Past However Now, I Can Tell The Volume Has Affected The Service And The Quality For Food. I'll Continue To Enjoy El Maguey But Via Delivery Apps As I Don't Think I'll Return In Person.

This was once one of my favorite restaurants but nothing stays the same! I took my nephew there to celebrate his birthday and it started off bad. I had to find someone to seat us and no one came to welcome us into the restaurant. The waiter said they didn't serve virgin drinks but after I asked to see a manager he said they could make them. The quality of the food was horrible. The beans were watery and the rice was bland. We were so disappointed with the food that we asked for the bill. We were charged double and triple for items and even items we didn't order. The waiter wanted to argue that he brought out dishes when he didn't. It took three tries to get the bill correct. If you're thinking of going to this restaurant save yourself the aggravation and find some place else. Do Better El Maguey Martin City!
