My wife and I love food from Central America, but finding good CA fare in KC isn’t easy. Finding this place which serves up food from El Salvador, was a real delight this past evening. I got the #2 breakfast for dinner and loved it. My wife got the pupusas and was quite pleased. The michelada was a nice drink and our server was really on top of things. Looking forward to our next visit!
Everything is super good. But this time I went I had bad luck. Some ladies were there and one of them told my children to be quiet and to be respectful. This happened when I got up to go pay for the food at the register. When I returned, my daughter told me that one of the ladies told my children to respect me. I came and asked the lady if they had committed my children to her. The lady said, teach them to respect, I can already imagine how they should behave at home, the lady...
This is as authentic as it gets for this type of food outside of El Salvador. I've never been to El Salvador, but I'm guessing my statement is true since I was the only gringo in the full restaurante. ?
