Stopped by Enzo for dinner and ordered the herb roasted chicken, eggplant fries, and a Spanish spritz. The chicken was moist and flavorful with a nice blend of herbs. The eggplant fries had a great crunch and came with a tasty sauce that really brought it all together. The spritz was refreshing and not too sweet, perfect for a summer evening. Loved the food and the relaxed vibe of the place.

If I come back it will be because of burt and alexis. Impeccable service. She should be running the place because I think she is able to talk to different types of people. A dog near me was pretty gross. But I guess I cant sit outside..
I noticed a man walking around asking people how they were doing. If they were enjoying their meals.
Not once did he stop by my table .
I was celebrating my birthday and watched him prepare to.walk towards me and then go the other way to talk to someone with a dog.
Management really needs to deal with their issues. Whatever your uncomfortable with needs to be handled if your going to manage a business that is suppose to be a safe space and inclusive. .

We came here for a small birthday celebration, and I can pleasantly say as our first time here- we will definitely be back! I was surprised to see how many Gluten-free options they had, aswell as plenty of tasty things to munch on. They have a very nice red & white wine collection, aswell as a few mix drinks and beer. Definitely a nice place to grab a nice bite to eat.

If you’re looking for the slowest meal of your life, paired with a generous side of rudeness and unprofessionalism, Enzo Wine & Bistro is the place to be. Three hours to complete a meal. THREE. HOURS. We could’ve driven to another city, had dinner, and been home before our entrées showed up.
But wait—it gets better. When we politely voiced our concerns, the manager laughed and mocked us like it was the funniest thing he’d heard all night. Apparently, customer complaints are entertainment here. Meanwhile, our waitress was too busy doing shots at the bar with the manager to bother checking on us. Cheers to terrible service, I guess?
If you enjoy being disrespected, ignored, and treated like a punchline while your food takes forever, this is your dream spot. For the rest of us? Hard pass.

Love this place! The food & service are always top notch. Kansas City is so lucky to have you! I recommend the carbonara & cheesecake - but it is all delicious!

One of my favorite spots in the City Market. Great dining area, great food, great people. You will drink 5 lemon slushes on the patio and then fail to stand up, and that’s how it should be. Also make sure you get an almond cookie on the way out. Chefs kiss

I decided to return to Enzo after a mediocre visit about three years ago. Since it's still open and in a great location in the River Market, my wife and I figured we’d give it another try. Unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed once again, this time, even more so.
I ordered the Branzino, which our server enthusiastically recommended as the #1 dish on the menu. What I received was undercooked and shockingly bland. For a dish that’s supposed to feature lemon and capers, there was no brightness, no seasoning, just an oddly flavorless piece of fish.
My wife had the shrimp linguine, which wasn’t any better. The noodles were undercooked, and the shrimp was overcooked, leaving the dish barely edible. We didn’t want to make a scene, but I did quietly send my entrée back. They offered to replace it, but no one asked what had been wrong with the original dish.
Wanting to play it safe, I asked for a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Oddly, it took 15 minutes to arrive. While the Caesar dressing itself was good, the salad was missing Parmesan and came with barely any dressing. The grilled chicken was again undercooked and tasted like something pre-packaged—not at all what you'd expect from a sit-down restaurant.
To be fair, Enzo has an attractive price point and prime location. But in this economy, with so many great options in KC, you only get so many chances to make a good impression. Unfortunately, they won’t be getting another one from me.

Enzo is a fantastic spot for dinner in Kansas City’s River Market—elevated yet comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a relaxed evening with great food and conversation. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, striking that ideal balance between upscale and inviting.
We tried a variety of dishes and loved every one of them. The bucatini with shrimp was a standout—perfectly cooked pasta with a light, flavorful sauce and tender shrimp that added a fresh, satisfying touch. The rigatoni bolognese was rich and hearty, exactly what you'd hope for in a classic Italian comfort dish. The moussaka brought a flavorful Mediterranean twist to the meal, with layers of perfectly seasoned meat and eggplant baked into a warm, satisfying dish. We also ordered a side of meatballs, and they didn’t disappoint—tender, well-seasoned, and a great addition to the table.
Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversations without interruption. Enzo is the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy great food, great drinks, and a genuinely welcoming vibe. It’s a gem in the River Market and one we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!
