Wow what an incredible experience! The ambiance is very classy and upscale modern, and the staff was so attentive and friendly.All of the food we ate was absolutely delicious. It's actually impossible to say what we liked the best but it was either the potato gnocchi (which has rabbit in it but is not gamey at all) or the duck meatballs that were so flavorful!Try everything!

1000000/10 recommend! Oysters were fresh and delicious. I ordered the ribeye and the cheese filled caramelles. Ribeye had an incredible flavor and was cooked perfect. The pasta was just fabulous. Michael came up to us personally with a warm welcome. Both him and his staff were great. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant in KC!

I had a terrible experience here. The food was good but the portions were small and i definitely was not wowed by anything. The service was decent, we made a reservation and still had to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get seated. The seating and the table were absolutely horrendous. The table was WAY to small, wobbly, and the seat we had was a wrap around bench. I had nowhere to put my feet. For my partner and I; we both had 4 utensils, a napkin, a plate, wine glass, a water glass and 3 menus each! There was already a candle and a wine menu on the table. I ordered a beer and they brought out ANOTHER glass. I had nowhere to put things because the table was SO SMALL. A note to whoever reads this: Just because something looks visually appealing, does not mean it is physically comfortable. Its a high end restaurant. Quit making the focus on having the restaurant look nice and focus on making the customer comfortable first.
Decided to come here last minute on a Saturday night and they were able to accommodate us at the oyster bar! Definitely would recommend getting a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back to try more of their dishes. The pasta was cooked perfect. Ahi tuna melted in your mouth. Service was impeccable.

Service was fantastic, nice vibe. We had a group of 4 but got seated in a small private room. Which was outstanding, that way we were actually able to hear each other and have a great conversation.The food presentation was top notch. Some of the dishes we had were just way too salty for our likening. Ribeye was way too fatty and too charred for my pallet. The gnocchi was incredible. And if you are brave order the calamari it was a hit with our table as the presentation was like nothing we have ever seen.

Had an overall good experience. The food was excellent, and was portioned very nicely. recommend the veal chop and duck meatballs as they were excellent. Aside from the food, our service was disappointing. Our sever seemed to not care and did nothing to add to our experience which displeased us. We had high expectations after being to other restaurants in the area of similar caliber but Farina disappointed in this category.
