I saw a couple negative reviews from portion size… I agree. If your coming to get “push the table away” stuffed like your standard KC BBQ restaurant you probably will be disappointed. However, if your looking for a relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, and quality food… you might give this place a shot. The service wasn’t formal, but they did all the right things to make you feel welcomed, informed, and taken care of. I had the pork chop and it was phenomenal. These are my kind of places. Not a big fan of super fancy restaurants so I love finding this style of high quality food with dinner casual atmosphere. Great work at Fox & Pearl! Keep it up!

Love this place. It's one of the top, top places for me and my BF. They do brunch now too! Which I'm super excited to get in and try. They also house Night Goat, a weekend BBQ (though they're about to move to their own space soon). Same owners. High-end Americana with a focus on sustainability through using all parts of the animal, so you'll see some interesting items here (special cuts like a bacon rib, or their meat plate). Amazing wine program, found this orange wine from Italy that I ended up ordering a whole case of to have on hand at home for special occasions. Never had something I didn't love here, great happy hour specials particularly on half-price wine Wednesdays. Built in an old-school corner drug store, they have a cool basement bar and table area, light and airy main floor sections, and fenced-im back patio grill area in the back which is poppin on the weekends.Parking: Parking lot across the street, and ample street parking otherwise.

We were over the moon for the Smoked Pork Chop and Grilled Hanger Steak. Ever so tender, rich smokey flavor, and perfect amount of sauce to compliment the flavors.Great spot for a birthday dinner with your partner.

It was my first time at this restaurant and I left disappointed. I’m aware mostly angry/upset people leave reviews, and I am not one of those people. Consider this review a cautionary flag, but an invitation to explore. I ordered the nettle tagliatelle pasta entree. I enjoyed the turnips and thought it went great with the pesto and pistachios. I’m not an expert, but I do enjoy food and consider myself an advanced home cook. I believe this dish was too salty. It’s the first dish I’ve ever sent back at a restaurant. The second dish they served of the nettle pasta was more or less the same. Too salty. I’m afraid I couldn’t finish it. Please, please, run a quality check on this dish. I’d consider coming back but very hesitant to order food. The drinks and staff were great.

Hostess very unfriendly upon arrival.Waiter was very friendly and provided good service. His knowledge about the food was not very good. His kindness made up for it.Charcuterie was not what I expected. Would not order again.Porkchop and greens were superb!!!!!When we were done and called for uber, we asked hostess for address to confirm we had the right address. She had no clue what address was. She had to get business card and gave it to us and said address was on it. Hostess needs to know address of place she works at that pays her.We are from out of state and were trying it out because some friends will be flying in tomorrow.Kid-friendliness: This is more of an adult place. Not much on menu for kids
