We always take our nieces and nephews here when they come into town. It’s a great place for kids. It’s classic American food … burgers, hot dogs, chilli … and honestly … just mediocre. But the atmosphere is wonderful and the kids live train booths and moving trolley that drops your orders right off at the table. I even went here many moons ago as a kid and remember eating in actual train booths! I have such pleasant memories of this place. It’s different but still great for kids and our relatives live it! A favorite go to with them!!

I usually love this place. But, this year was different. Atmosphere is great love the trains. The wait staff is nothing but attitude. My burger was missing the grilled onions. The girl came and took it barely, saying anything like she was bothered that I brought it up. Took it back to the grill 10-15 minutes later the same burger came back out barely warm, and the cheese was cold and hard with a scant amount of barely grilled onions. So it was edible but definitely not delicious. My table was already finished eating. I may cross this off my christmas dining locations. I'm not sure why onions took that long or why it was such an inconvenience to the staff.

This place was awesome back in 1999. It could be my child taste buds or it was just better quality.. Food is great for kids and really fun for them to watch the train deliver food. Now I would eat before or after if you’re an adult and just grab a soda while watching the kids.

Fritz is a great spot for families with kids! The atmosphere is lively and engaging, keeping the little ones entertained. While the food was decent, the portion sizes felt a bit small. However, the onion rings were absolutely delicious. One minor drawback is that refills need to be obtained at the counter, which can sometimes involve a bit of a wait for assistance. Overall: Despite the small portions and refill process, the lively atmosphere and delicious onion rings make Fritz a worthwhile dining experience, especially for families with children. Unique experience, where trains serve your food and the staff are very friendly. Took a large group there and they were very accommodating! Food was decent, regular diner fare. Be prepared for a long line during peak hours!
