Easily some of the worst fettucine alfredo i've ever had in my life, I've had Kraft mac and cheese that tasted better than whatever the hell that was. Will never be back after that, wouldn't go back again if it was free.

First time and definitely star struck! We went for my wife's birthday lunch and from the moment you walk in, you feel kinda overwhelmed with all the pictures on the wall of celebrities that have been there, and I don't just mean local celebrities, I'm talking CELEBRITIES! it's definitely an experience for all the senses, the food is SO amazing and the service is overwhelming! Chad C. treated us like we were his only table and for that, God Bless You Chad. Just going there makes you feel all the nostalgia and heritage of Italian Americans... And that first bite will verify all of that!

Had a super amazing time with my Niece & her fiancé! Dined at a different Garozzo’s ions ago, but this location was boss! The server & hosts were super friendly & the entrees were reasonable & very filling! The lasagna was slamming with flavor & sauce! However, I say no to the artichoke appetizer because I love veggies, but the plant wasn’t tender enough to eat, but the cheese filling was loaded with flavor! I opted for the fried mozzarella cake & it was superb! The appetizer experience will NOT stop me from looking forward to the next visit! You guys rock!
Love coming here! Sundays are my favorite with half price bottles of wine! We come here for work dinners, birthdays, casual dinners, dates, ay and everything. I haven’t had a thing on the menu that I did not like! Our servers are always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable! They contribute to the experience and make sure you are cared for the entire visit. I can’t wait to go back again!

As always we were not disappointed!! The food and service were outstanding! I would recommend a reservation on the weekend. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and only had to wait a few minutes (less than 5) to be seated. Other folks coming in without one were waiting a while to get seated. The food and atmosphere are well worth the wait though. I was able to cut my steak with a butter knife and the taste was fabulous!

This is one of the most unique restaurants I’ve been to. It’s world class food in a really unique and well thought out dining area. We ate upstairs and what appeared to be some sort of office and had to enter through the back door which made it feel like you’re really eating somewhere special.
The wait staff was incredible, funny and attentive.
If I ever go back in Kansas City, I’m for sure going again
I have wanted to eat here for years and we finally go a reservation for my girlfriend birthday. The food was not hot as anticipated. It came out like warm at best. We took what was left just to save face but ended up trashing it.
The customer service was not as expected. The nicest person was the guy after we entered. I never got our server name. Nor the names of the people who took our plates as they said nothing (not even a hello or how was everything).
We have resigned to try the other location to see if the experience is better. I was disappointed and probably will not return to this location.

We celebrated my Dad’s 85th Birthday at Garozzo’s Downtown. We had a party of 11. Everyone was so friendly and courteous. They made the whole experience absolutely amazing! Our waiter Jerad was phenomenal! I recommend this place to the highest for any celebration!🙏🙌

I'm new to Kansas City, but I knew it had a repuation for having great Italian food, and Garozzo's hit the spot! Since it was my first time there, I wanted to try a number of things. We got the garlic dip, and the meatballs as appetizers and both were fantastic. For my entrée I chose the secret menu item for January: chicken oreganato, a grilled chicken cutlet with sauteed peppers, musheooms, and onions in a marsala wine sauce. It was flavorful and true to it's namesake, the earthiness of oregano was noticable and savory. The chicken itself was also very tender and cooked perfectly. My son got the lasagna, and his mom the canneloni. Both were fantastic. I had never had cannaloni that meaty before, these were truly the best ever, and their lasagna was a hit too. I liked that rhey put a lot if italian sausage in it, amd my son scrafed it down. For dessert chocolate mousse cake was the winner To drink I got their house Chianti Classico and I was very impressed. Being in the industry, I know good wine when I have it. Service from our waiter Caleb was exceptional, and the owner Mike made the rounds and made us feel at home. The restaurant iitself is really good sized, and has two levels. The ambiance is classic, and stately, yet still feels warm and inviting. I am looking forward to my next meal there.
