Gates has always been a great place for some original KC Bar-B-Q! The meat is good and tender with just the right amount of flavor. The side dishes are wonderful. Whenever I want BBQ, it is always Gates. You are always greeted right when you walk in the door with, "HI! May I help you?" The price is right for BBQ this good. If you have never had it, then stop in and get some. You won't be disappointed!

Had the short ends with BBQ beans. First time having KC BBQ. Tangy with a little kick at the end. My girl had the fries with Gates seasoning. She said they were pretty good.

To dark in side you cannot see your food. Food too salty, bbq sauce HORRIBLE! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

It was the seasoning on the fries that made my experience a not so good one. I didn’t ask for seasoning on my fries. I couldn’t really enjoy my meal because of all the seasoning that was on my fries. In my opinion yall can do better without the seasoning on fries. Fries are better being cooked the original way.
