I love this place but they have seriously out priced themselves when it cost me $27 just for myself to eat lunch. No place is worth that much money to me and to not know until I go up to pay was asinine.
Everything about it is fantastic except for the price there is literally no reason why it should cost that much for lunch.

Pricie...maybe because we went after 2 we got stuck with dinner prices. We used to go all the time. At those prices we are tapping out.

The server was super friendly! As soon as we walked in she welcomed us in and was excited to tell us about the Mongolian grill experience and let us know where everything we'd need was in the buffet. She also came over when she saw me looking around and asked me what she could help with before I had the chance to ask which was amazing! The only thing I wish is that the fruit was stocked up, but that's a super duper small thing I noticed. Everything was fantastic!

One of my favorite restaurants in KC. From the neighborhood vibe, to the fresh ingredients, this is always a great experience eating at Ghengis Khan. Flavorful, fresh and unique.

We haven't been here in forever, we thought they had closed, our waitress said it had buts its open and under new ownership, the hubby's birthday so his choice, we arriived around 615 on a Friday night, was able to 6 right down. We ordered our beers, then headed to the buffet. When we got back to our table with our cooked food, we still didnt have our drinks, our waitress came over with water and told us they were out of Sapporo so we ordered 2 more beers, i mine was draft so she brought his kirin and i had to wait for mine, i was almost done when my beer came. The mongolian choices looked fresh, and my choices all tasted great. Fresh fruit was good as a dessert, i didnt try the pasteries.

Ordered the basil chicken pot, crab rangoon and soupd. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. It all was twice as good in day 2. Just the right amount of spice on the basil chicken!

My favorite and oldest Mongolian BBQ in the area. Always fresh and excellent.
I thought it was time to update this. I hope everyone has discovered by now they are reopened by some of the original employees after the initial owners closed. This is as good as it always was. The food is top notch. If it's your first time, ask for help, they are happy to provide it. Just a hit from me, the items on the buffet that really hold the flavor of the sauces you choose are the fried potatoes, fried tofu and pineapple. Take whatever else you like. Experiment and have fun and if it doesn't turn out perfect, go back and do it again. It is a buffet!

Still so good after all these years! (Remember those little chunks of earm seasame bread???) All you can eat Mongolian BBQ for less than $20/plate at lunch! Honestly, the apps, soups and dessert make this a great value.

We always love it here. Though if you go close to lunch time they are often slow getting appetizers out, so avoid going too close to open if that matters to you.
