I ate here for the first time a few days ago and ordered the fried catfish and jumbo shrimp. The catfish was tasty (would get again), but the shrimp was a bit small and overly breaded. Fries were good.
Staff is friendly, but service time was a bit slow, you will have a wait (took 20 minutes). But the trade-off is the food is fresh.
Not a bad place if you’re looking for local fried seafood and something better than Captain D’s.

I’ve been seeing glowing reviews for this place and had to check it out. They did not disappoint. My whole family raved about the wings, tenders and fries. I was even told no more getting Popeyes, we are only getting GJ’s.

There is no atmosphere at this place. The food says it all and it's good! I go there often and I'm not even a big chicken fan, but I love their wings! The shrimp is very good too as are the side dishes. The employees are courteous and efficient.
