I drive 25 min to go to this Godfather's pizza. The pizza is amazing every time and the staff are the friendliest people I've met. Love this place

Awesome pizza buffet! Great service, and the pizza is delicious! Only four stars for atmosphere because I like the quieter more comfortable dining rooms at the other Godfathers restaurants better, but this one is still nice.

Manager was weird. Had to use the restroom. Had to fight my way through a birthday party to get there only to see the bathroom was locked. I waited the weird manager emerges from the bathroom. Pizza prices are out of hand here. Parm shakers are never cleaned. My sister takes the top of the thing. Its just covered in residue. Go somewhere else instead.

Guilty pleasure. Haven't had it in years. So good. Still.

The employees were nice and the restaurant was clean! The food was not so good, not like it used to be! Prices for wings were not posted on the menu and were priced by weight. I got boneless BBQ wings, 1/2 pound at almost 12 dollars. I received 7 pieces and the BBQ sauce was flavorless! I feel like almost 12 dollars for 7 pieces of boneless wings is way overpriced! I can go to Walmart deli and get 8 boneless pieces that have flavorful BBQ sauce for 4.99 and it weighs over 1/2 pound. My son got a small cheese pizza, it was chewy and flavorless but he liked it. Altogether I had the wings, a small pizza, and 2 fountain drinks for about 32 dollars!! I also tipped 20%, I feel like I didn't get my money's worth and left unsatisfied! I probably won't be coming back!

The pizza was very bland and the price was ridiculous overpriced.
This was my first time going there but I will not be returning. Furthermore, I am in the hospital with food poisoning from this place. People be there.

Been going to this location since all the locations near me closed over Covid and for various other reasons. Never been disappointed. Its a bit expensive but the amount of toppings you get is generally a lot more than you get from most other places. Im not able to go often but every time I get a chance, I always make sure to buy a pizza or 2.

The best part about Godfathers is the buffet. It's one of the few places in town that still have a pizza buffet. Yes there are a few others, one that's known more for their chicken, which is sad, and a couple that are more set up for kids parties and give you the closest experience to pure chaos you could ever get. This place has a nice quiet lunch buffet in a clean restaurant with good tasting, not watered down, sodas, a decent salad bar, and a few options of desert pizza.

So if you'd really rather eat tasty pizza instead of chicken and sit down in a place you can talk at a regular voice instead of yelling and dodging kids this is your place.

As far as getting take out pizza from here, there's better options for that. Stick with the buffet here.

Disappointing and Overpriced - False Advertising at Its Worst

I’m genuinely shocked by how terrible my experience was at Godfather’s Pizza on Skyview Avenue in Kansas City. Their slogan on the box proudly states, “We don’t skimp on the cheese,” but let me tell you—that couldn’t be further from the truth. I ordered a large stuffed crust cheese pizza with extra cheese and extra sauce, expecting something extraordinary for the $31.88 I paid. Instead, I received the plainest, most uninspired cheese pizza I’ve ever had.

Where was the extra cheese? Nonexistent. Extra sauce? Nowhere to be found. It was as if I paid a premium price for a basic, mediocre pizza that didn’t even live up to their most basic advertising claims. I thought I was getting something special—something Ninja Turtle-worthy—but instead, it was bland, boring, and completely overpriced.

This is hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life, and I will absolutely never go back. If you’re considering trying this location, save yourself the disappointment and take your money elsewhere. For $31, I could’ve gotten a much better pizza that actually delivered on flavor, quality, and truth in advertising. Godfather’s Pizza, you should be ashamed.
