I have had many wonderful experiences at Grand Street Plaza which is why I chose it to bring my family for Mothers Day. The food and our particular server were horrible. We were in the first brunch seating and watched them fill the buffet. Everything was cold; eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, French toast which actually came with a couple long black hairs. The only hot food came from the carving station, and the tomato/feta salad was delish. Our server was sarcastic, bordering on rude, constant grumbles on how tired he was because he had worked the night before. He was friends w the table next to ours and spent a lot of time visiting them, not once checking in with our table. We ordered bottomless drinks and had to track him down for each refill. I told him about the hair in the serving container of French toast and he did not seem concerned. 2 of our party paid cash and again, had to track him down for their change. He seemed upset that they were not giving him extra (over the 20% tip that was already factored into the bill) and tossed the change back on the table with no receipts. I am completely disappointed in what was supposed to be a good meal and fun time. I doubt I will ever return, definitely not for a buffet.

I met a friend for a mid-week happy hour at 5. We got a selection of appetizers and our favorite was the chicken fried brussels sprouts - highly recommend trying those! The service was good but not quite attentive. The restaurant is beautiful but some of the booths need to be reupholstered.

I went several years ago & thought it was nice, but not impressed enough to return. But a nonprofit I volunteer for held their volunteer appreciation event there. Still not impressed.I totally understand the nonprofit was trying to hold costs down while still offering something nice, but appetizers & desert bites left much to be desired.

Their special events room provides small businesses or non-profits to host amazing fundraising or networking The parking is ample enough for small or large groups, it is centrally located in the city, and the staff provides excellent service alwaysDietary restrictions: Although I had just had surgery and could eat very limited things, the menu was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions

I stopped by for a super late lunch/early dinner after exploring a couple of the nearby art museums. The ambience and food were excellent, and the service was super friendly. I'm glad I stumbled onto this place. I'd return if I'm ever in the area again.

We had a wonderful experience working with Chelsea Jordan to plan a work reception. Chelsea and her team were extremely responsive and accommodating. Everything was executed according to the plan and our guests had a wonderful time! I would definitely use Grand Street again for an event! Highly recommend!

Food was good. Ambience was good. Buyer beware, they automatically add a 20% gratuity at the buffet brunch regardless of the quality of your service. Unfortunately for us we had an aloof waiter even though his one job was to bring us drinks, so it made for a hard pill to swallow that he got an automatic 20% on our $180 bill.

As most people do, going to a particular restaurant is the food first and then the hospitality. Both are off the charts at Grand Street Cafe. We had a new server where it was obvious that he enjoys his job and has learned it well. For me and my friends, if there is a question of where to go out and eat, Grand Street Cafe wins out almost every time. Try it, you might like it. Special thanks to our server Daniel.
