I'm going to say this...If you know good cuisine and great food, Hakuna Matata KC located in South Kansas City, Missouri. The food was fresh, hot and cooked to order. I ordered the shrimp over rice, cooked spicy with a side order of fries green tomatoes...Loved every bite! Oh! And Great portions😘 I am a first time customer and plan on being a long term patron of this great place for great food!

The food and service are great here. My wife and I ordered the Gyro and the Shwarma and Chicken with rice plate. The sauces that are included were wonderful, I especially loved the spicy orange colored sauce. Everything on the Shwarma and Chicken plate was well seasoned even the rice. While we were waiting for our order, the owner graciously let us sample his vegetable samosa and falafel. We will definitely be returning to try more of his food.

We tried a little bit of everything on the menu and it was extremely flavorful. The portions were large, and it was cheap even! I strongly recommend this place to anyone.
Oh man! AB puts the flavor in his food. Huge portions, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The guy really does it right and has been known to throw in a free falafel or dessert on occasion. I really like this place and I really like the owner AB 5/5, would recommend to anyone. Fish and shrimp on rice for days!!

Glad someone started a New York style halal joint here in Kansas. Close to Cerner this place has started seeing some new customers lately. The food is deliciously new for the type. The owner is joyful and takes pride in serving gyros in his restaurant.
