Best restaurant in the entire Kansas airport. Every time I fly out I come here. Service is nice and food is hot and fresh. I also get chicken sandwich. I also had the ceasar salad once. Both were excellent.
Amazing service from the guy working the bar. I left my purse and he found me in the airport to return it. Very grateful!
It’s honestly not bad for a busy airport. It’s certainly not five star at the Ritz but it certainly could be worse. Overall it’s pretty decent. The people were very nice but because there is so many travellers they often get over burdened by Work and have trouble taking care of you individually because there’s too much going on and not enough people to do it. That’s certainly not their fault. That’s just the reality of the situation : too many travellers and not enough bartenders.
Overall it’s a decent place with a decent meal and they have a menu that certainly doesn’t shame itself. It’s just too busy to sit down and enjoy yourself because of the overcrowding and the sheer number of travellers that overwhelms the dining experience.
Ran out of shrimp and mashed potatoes on a regular Thursday night at 6:30p. Food is overpriced as expected. By no means terrible but nothing stands out.
When you walk into the restaurant you get this welcoming feeling. People were comfortable and singing at the bar area. I ordered Chicken Caesar salad and a coke; the food was prepared quickly and was flavorful. It was probably the best Chicken Caesar salad that I have ever had. The atmosphere is very calming (well needed before a flight) and the decor was elegant. The stations and dining areas were very clean and organized. The music choice was top tier. Cherise was my waitress and her service was fantastic.
Kid-friendliness: People brought their children to dine in.

I was unpleasantly surprised.
My friend and I decided to sit down for a meal while we waited for our flights.
We expected the food to be expensive as this is an airport. What we did NOT expect was the type of service.
The biggest issue was the shear lack of communication. There were no croutons or avocados which were suppose to come with our meal. However those were out. Whe. We expressed our concern the waitress gave use alot of attitude which was highly uncalled for.

Truly horrendous service. One of the servers caught a nasty attitude with me when I expressed my disappointment in my meal. I ordered a caesar salad, it came out with no croutons (even though it was listed on the menu the salad included them) when I asked about the croutons, they were out. So I changed my order to the chicken sandwich with cheese and sliced avocado... sandwich came out without avocado, which was also not communicated to me. They tried to bring me some bagged smashed avocado. For these airport prices, I would appreciate all ingredients listed on the menu to be included on my plate.. or AT LEAST some communication informing me of the ingredients my plate would be missing.

Ordered the honey glazed salmon with mashed potatoes and caesar salad, and my mom ordered a plain burger with just lettuce, tomato & mayo. Also ordered a single margarita and my mom asked the waitress (who didnt introduce herself) what their best fruity drink was - and was told it’s an Old Fashioned, so she got that. I knew it was a mistake as soon as she took the waitress’ word for it because an old fashioned is FAR from fruity. Needless to say, it got sent back to the bar. My mom’s burger came out with sunny side up egg and cheese on it (remember she asked for plain?) so that was sent back as well. When it came back there was no mayo which she asked for on as well. My salmon was good but the mashed potatoes were the “instant” box kind which sucked (as I only eat whole, non-processed foods). The romaine in the caesar salad was clearly old (they tasted old and they were wilted instead of crispy). When I got the receipt, there was a double margarita on it which is $6 more than the single. One thing our waitress was NOT, is attentive. Service was very sad for us to be one of TWO sets of customers at 4:30 pm on a Monday. Wish I would’ve checked reviews first because this place sucks and is not worth the $86 tab. I also want to point out that someone called this place upscale - it’s FAR FROM UPSCALE! All food is served on plastic dishes and they provide only plastic cutlery. Additionally, about 10 minutes after getting the check, a “manager” walks over asking what our problem is. Confused, we ask what he’s talking about. Apparently he was told that we weren’t trying to pay for our drinks, which was not the case. Then the bartender walks over, getting loud and complaining about charging us for a single margarita when she made a double (which isn’t my fault, I ordered a single and didn’t even drink half!) and saying she only came over because she heard we didn’t want to pay for our drinks - a straight up lie. Seems like the waitress made an assumption that we didn’t want to pay and told the other two employees on duty which caused a scene. A stupid assumption on her part because my credit card was on top of the receipt that was laying on the table waiting for her to take it but she never came back, instead she sent the “manager” over. We were thinking about getting something else to go before paying but due to this BS we just paid online & got outta there. If the waitress would have gotten the order correct, none of this would have happened. Then the “manager” kept talking over me instead of listening to my explanation of his server getting everything wrong. The service here is absolute garbage because no one listens! Stay far away from this place, there’s a reason they can’t even get 3 stars at the airport where expectations are already low.

Long wait for service. The cheap beer is very expensive. Dunkin Doughnuts honestly is better. I wished I would have just went to Dunkin to begin with. This is only my opinion. They did nothing wrong. Just not for me I guess.

Didn’t have the most interesting item on menu. Bacon pancakes came with just one rasher of bacon and took 20 minutes. Oh… and they didn’t have any coffee!

I am not sure why the reviews are so bad, we had lunch here and thought everything was excellent, and the service was top notch.
I only didn't give 5 stars because they don't have a kids menu.
