Had a great breakfast here on a Sunday morning while in town last week. Good hot coffee, great omelet and English muffin. Lot's of interesting menu choices I would return for, including carrot cake pancakes. Service was prompt and polite and there was plenty of room at comfortable counter seats. An easy walk from the Presidential hotel and other hotels.

Modern breakfast spot with decent food. Love the French press for your tea. Bacon was cooked really well, which can be surprisingly hard.
Service was nice, maybe a little slow to come to the table when our final party member arrived, but our server was otherwise pleasant.

Visited their new location after reviewing their Brookside location now that they have expanded their locations lets see if their signature dishes are made the same.
My fav past rated 10/10 cinnamon swirl French toast.
Unfortunately they didn't bring out the home made caramel syrup that i loved the last time this time they brought out some strawberries still amazing but dropped to a 7.5/10.
Tried their seasonal chili offered as a full breakfast or ala cart. I got the alacart version 8.5/10 but after adding that hot sauce 10/10.
Tried the build your own breakfast rosemary potatoes pretty good. Sausage patty's horrible, eggs super tasty and English muffins meh... overall the dish was a 4/10 and ended up getting comped as the manager overheard my video and said the sausage have been getting a ton of complaints especially the patty's.
Hope that keeps you away from the patty's.
Coffee was great too check the videos out.

The food was excellent! Unique, balanced, yet filling. The tea was wonderful too - The bees knees Chai. The bacon came out too crunchy, but they tried again, and the second batch was just right. The pistachio and cherry French toast was perfect.
The space is difficult. I'm not sure if a sit down works very well in the P&L area. Maybe something quicker or like kc joes style would work better. That's just my opinion tho!

Great place to have a delicious breakfast or brunch. Service is fast and friendly. The place has a nice vibe for relaxing and upbeat at the same time. Ford was amazing; however I did take a star because one of the eggs in the Benedict was very overcooked. I would in reality give it a 4.7 but google likes whole numbers. Highly recommend.

This is our first time eating at HomeGrown. It was a great experience with great service thanks to Phillip here at the powerlight location!
Parking is NOT fully validated. First, the ticket didn't register as validated at all, so we had to go back inside. Then, it only validated part of it, so we still had to pay $5. It's not worth it for the price and quality of food and the stress of going downtown. The coffee is decent, the food is just okay. We probably won't go back.

They say validated parking but it wasn't fully covered. As a local who lives close to down town the hassle of partially validated parking isn't worth it. Food was OK but nothing to write home about.
Vegetarian options: A few veg options. All have cheese involved. Veg omelet was normal.
Dietary restrictions: They do have some non dairy milks. Oat and almond
Parking: They only validated $11 of my $16 dollar charge which was for 1 hr 14min Saturday around 1-2pm
Wheelchair accessibility: Full ramp access too front door from sidewalk.

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat! And breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out, so this is always one of my top spots! I love the downtown location as well as the Brookside location! The staff is always friendly, they have a wide variety of breakfast options ! And just a great all around atmosphere! If you want something hearty and sinfully delicious the biscuits and gravy are awesome, but if you want something healthy and flavorful the Ironman scramble and BLT kale salad are also good! There is selection to choose from, and It’s all good!
