I’ve been to Homegrown a few times in Des Moines but this is my first time at one of their Kansas City locations. First, as far as Homegrown goes, it was good. We started with a strawberry poptart which was as sweet as it looks though I do wish they were served warm. For drinks, we ordered a Pumpkin Pie Latte and the Real Deal Mocha. Came for a weekend trip from NE. The food was amazing along with the service and atmosphere. Perfect walking distance from the hotel I'm staying at. Definitely come here if you're in the area!!
Food & service were great. This eas such a nice find for a breakfast stop. I loved the atmosphere & everything about it. Lots of booth & table seating. This day was rainy but they have large garage type doors they can open when weather is nicer. This place is great with friends or just you & your partner.
