Been here a handful of times. Some nights it can be really fun, but it can be pretty hit or miss and the DJ's are not always the best at keeping track of everyone's turns and seem too busy doing whatever they want and goofing off.

I will never patronize this place. It has a bad vibe and poor service especially the bartender who acted like a fool. We are just speechless or should I say sing-less. We had out of town guess come into town who love karaoke. The minute our guest got there, they put their name in for an opportunity to sing but your whole system doesn’t seem to make any sense - they waited for 3 hours to sing but never got a chance. But instead the locals were called numerous time.

Pretty sure the 4 and 5 star reviews are fake, just to upvote the average of this place, especially where you see reviews with no comments. Read the comments/complaints about the staff monopolizing singing time and living out their failed American Idol dreams-- when you see those comments, believe them. Do not believe the replies from management that say how "out of character" that is, or how that "isn't the norm" and they'll "look into it”. I was just here this weekend and that is EXACTLY how it is. We were there for 2 hours and finally left before our turn to sing came up. It wasn't busy at all, and given the amount of people in there, should have taken MAYBE 30 mins. But the staff sings at least 2-3 songs between customers and even then, when customers are singing, the DJ and the "hype man" help themselves to cameos and jump in on everyone else's singing. Either management is completely oblivious and even after all of the complaints in reviews STILL hasn't bothered to address the situation, OR they don't care and figure instead of fixing it, they just can get out of the (honest) bad, reviews with fake concern in their responses and having their friends upvote this place. It's a great idea, the space is in a great location, the bar is large and can accommodate several bartenders and quite a few people. Despite the reviews the say the staff were rude, we didn't experience that. The staff were all very nice and funny, but they also seem to think people come to a karaoke bar to hear THEM sing, and that's the problem management really needs to address. Until then, I agree w/ some of the other posters, Angels Rock, the Dubliner, hell... even Sharky's was a better time than this place.

I don't sing Karaoke so IDC about that part.....but I loved the overall atmosphere and music played in between singers.....this was a Saturday night.... Might need more bartenders..seemed way to busy for just 2....

Do not go here. The management was rude and the workers were less than interested in their jobs. Phones never answered and messages not returned. There are plenty of other establishments that will make your night without all of the hassle.

Drinks are pretty good here if you get people that know how to properly make them. If you come here to sing karaoke, good luck. The guy in charge of Karaoke likes to here only his voice singing. We requested a song to sing and never got to sing it even though the club was empty. He even started to ignore us when we tried to request more. I was happy at first but now honestly so annoyed.

I had guest come in town this week that wanted to sing karaoke so we looked at their website and read some their reviews which should have made us change our minds but I decided to email Kyla who responded to one of the complaints. Kyla was super responsive and reassured me that the bar would open Thursday's at 8 pm and you did not have to purchase a private room. We ate next door at Johnnys and walked over to sing at 8:20, only to find out both entrances were locked. UNBELIEVABLE!! We went to a next door bar and was informed that they do not open on Thursdays even though the website says otherwise. What a joke and I was very embarrassed as my guest are business partners from out of town. We ended up at a place called June's Jazz and had a fun time. I would recommend reading hotel Karaoke's reviews prior to making plans!!!

First time checking this place out tonight and... I’m underwhelmed...We asked about singing Karaoke upon arrival. We thought they had open singing like off key since the DJ was singing.... nope. They only have separate rooms. So.. we left. There’s a cover after 10:00pm.I hate having to give a one star but it’s not accurately representing itself.. also...I’m all about listening to music.. but.. come on now... if I wanted a cover band or something like that go to Howl at the Moon....We spent all night at Angels Rock Bar... best decision of the night.

Came here with a group of friends as we're all here for a business trip and this place was very disappointing. Half the time, the singers were people who work there so we're all forced to listen to their failed American Idol dreams. The guests who came there and bought drinks didn't really have the chance to sing. They'll also take your song request but actually never pick you if they didn't like your song. Would've been nice to just let us know that we're there to just listen to their personal concert so we could've left right away and made better use of our time.
Staff was great helping us find some Latin music. They need to expand their Spanish music list. We had a great time.

Nothing bad to say about Hotel Karaoke!!! This place has it all. Snacks, drinks, happy hours, private rooms and large group karaoke! The song options are ENDLESS and the ability to select your own song and see the order in which you will perform is so great. We had a blast for my best friend's birthday and snatched up the largest room because we got there fairly early. I recommend this because there's really no reason to leave and go anywhere else! Start here and end here. Get here early and sing the night away. Staff was friendly and were able to meet all of our needs. Go here!

Great atmosphere, fun experience, service was also good. However the private rooms are extremely hot. We were informed that they had no control over the temperature. Honestly this alone would make it hard for me to return. When I say it was hot I mean dripping sweat hot. We may try it again without reserving a private room.

We were here for a birthday party on Aug. 10, 2019 and had a fantastic time. The AC in the private rooms working GREAT so that problem is resolved. The staff was fantastic, the service was fantastic. I would withhold half a star if I could because making reservations for a private room is a challenge. They are open so few hours during the day that it is hard to call and talk with someone; email responses were somewhat sporadic. Definitely recommend for a great time!!

Decent spot in P&L for a karaoke night. The prices for drinks and to reserve a private room (which we did) are both reasonable and the facilities are new and clean. Unfortunately their song selection isn't great, and the method of selecting and playing the next song are not at all intuitive. Also our server was awkward and didn't really seem to know what she was talking about.
