First time being at this Ice Cream Bae location and it was okay. Their ice cream combinations are decent and big, but the fact that only two people are working on a Friday night when the line is back out the door, with one person taking orders and one making the ice cream, the service could definitely be better. It's very rare to find parking near the shop. There is limited seating inside, so expect to take your ice cream to go. One nice thing about this location is the yard...
I went in to the Leawood location, on Mother’s Day yesterday. I was pretty excited to take advantage of the Mothers Day special, a beautiful cone with edible flowers . Neither of the staff knew about the special although it had just been posted on Facebook. Ot has also been posted the night before. One of the young ladies looked all over for the flowers, the shorter of the two was extremely rude to me and had every excuse… she had worked since Tuesday, they probably didn’t...
The ice cream combinations are fun and aesthetic, and you can sample the soft serve flavors before buying— the peppermint and vanilla/sweet cream are both very creamy and yummy. I would not recommend the vegan raspberry though, it tasted quite medicinal and chemically.
