Jack Stack Barbecue - Freight House

In my opening the best BBQ in Kansas City. I have not tried anything here that I don't absolutely love!

Jack Stack is a must when visiting KC. The ambiance at the Freight House location is always special. The food is always “can't miss”, so reservations are a good idea. Always busy but never disappointing. Take the time to experience Jack Stack Freight House.

Great food, and highly accommodating to reservation modification on short notice during an exceptionally busy Friday night peak dinner hours. The indoor heated patio is an excellent choice and if not for being on the patio we'd have missed the Christmas Train views.Thank you!

Jack Stack was a very good dining experience and we will be back. Our server was outstanding and the food was amazingly delicious and plentiful for a reasonable price. We were told by friends to go to Jacks and we highly recommend others to do so.

No questions...go with the Burnt Ends. Visiting from Colorado over the years we always make an effort to visit Jack Stack BBQ once or twice while in town. A generous potion of Burnt Ends come with a side...creamy cole slaw is my favorite however, I didn't see much of any of the sides left over so I'm guessing they are all good! Service is excellent. Our server was friendly and paid just the right amount of attention to us...not too much and not too little. Highly recommend!

My first time going here and ordered the 4 meat family meat platter with pulled pork , brisket, chicken and ribs . All the meats were very good and definitely recommend as they were smokey, juicy and tender. The ques pulled pork dip was excellent consistentcy and taste. The sides were great : coleslaw, beans, cheesy corn and potato salad . Server very friendly, food came out very quickly and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet then its a must 👌!

Kansas city Barbecue at its finest. Great location in a remodeled stock yard. Smoked meat is on point. Side less to be disired.

Driving through and came across this restaurant it was amazing! The food is to die for, honestly the best BBQ I've ever had, and our server, Lauryn was so kind and knowledgeable!. Walked us through the best options and made our evening magical! Come here and get the best food and best service in the city!
