We stopped at my favorite Italian restaurant,Jasper's,to celebrate my 72 birthday. They were so gracious and charming. The food was fabulous. The veal & canoli the best I've had in a long, long time. Just like grandma used to make! My date had the Italian sausage. He loved it! The Shrimp Livornese antipasti was sent from heaven! Thanks for making my special day even better!

Went to dinner at jaspers the other night. beautiful dining area but the hostess wanted to seat us a two seat table right by the door instead of the beautiful dining room then immediately reminded me and no hat policy, please take my hat off. I already have a bad taste in my mouth from those two items. ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was not good at all. My girlfriend ordered Alfredo and the pasta noodles were undercooked. Just a bit of a disappointing evening. I won’t be going back.

This place was highly recommended. Appetizer was good, salad good. Entree, which our server recommended, was trash. My wifes was bland as well. Might as well had chick filet. This was the second time in my life I said something (because it was that bad) and the server bought us a shot. This was our anniversary dinner and thr server said the manager was too busy to say sorry. Disappointment is an understatement.

We ate at the restaurant deli called Marco Polo Market! Super delicious. Friendly service. Great place to eat! Family favorite!

What am I missing KC?! This is some of the most lackluster Italian food... maggiano's has more flavor than this place... super disappointing birthday meal Ambiance was about the only redeeming part of this restaurant. To start our reservation was written down incorrectly. Our server was also incredibly rude... Cocktail menu was disappointing. Appetizers were probably the best part of the meal... Ricotta and meatballs and charbroiled oysters... excluding our salads that had more bleu cheese than lettuce. Entrees were the worst part of the night. Lacking seasoning and flavor.... I'm appalled their chicken Parmesan is a signature dish. My pasta looked straight out of a box, and the chicken and marinara were incredibly bland... I don't know if the staff was having an off night... or if the B team works on Tuesdays...but the quality of food should be consistent no matter what night of the week you go. Wont be back

This place is hyped up as a great Italian restaurant, but it is hardly any of those things. The food tastes straight out of a can or some Reinhart food service premade dish. Everything about this place makes you think it is going to be good but it was disappointing. We waited for over 15 minutes for them to finish 2 cocktails only for them to make them wrong and then the food after that was worse than the "Italian food" you get from Olive Garden. The wine selection is good however. Go for the wine and DO NOT order food, it's not worth half the price it's sold for.

We visit Jaspers frequently. The service is first class. We've had numerous waiters/waitresses and the service stands out. Second to none. It's friendly, but a whole level of professionalism you wouldn't believe. The food is fantastic. They seasonally do a mozzarella theater where they make the cheese right in front of you...it is one of the best things to try in the Kansas City area. The owner personally comes out and thanks as many people as he can.We make it a point to try as many new restaurants as we can to try new experiences, but we always come back to Jaspers. It's the gold standard for us.

My lunch was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Jasper came to the table and asked me and my client has how our meal was. Jasper takes time out to visit and make sure everything is up to his high standards. Great good great service great people. The Calamari was excellent. The mozzarella salad was wonderful and exuded fesh flavor . the eggpant Othello was fantastic.the canolis were awesome and light and delicious.

There were 8 in our party. Only 3 were able to eat their food. House salads the lettuce was bitter and tasted like it only had oil on it. Caesar salad had vinegar on it. Pasta dishes tasted like sauce was poured from a can of tomato sauce. Linguini with clams was too gritty to eat. Only thing good was the bread & desserts. Will never go there again or recommend it. Way too pricey for what you get.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The bread was warm and delicious. The wine was amazing. The Lobster Ravioli lived up to the billing and then some!
