Heard great things about JJs over the years. Atmosphere was good other than the lighting was very dim. The food was overpriced and average at best. The wine however was amazing. Our server wasn't the most attentive, saw other servers returning to make sure wine glasses were always full, ours seemed to miss that mark. She was pleasant otherwise. Not somewhere I would likely return.

Service was too notch. The staff was a bit stressed out as their credit card system was down but they handled it well. Cheese plate and lemoncello cake were the stars of the show. Our steaks were over cooked and the Demi was cold.

My chicken dish had two breasts, one of which was rubbery and inedible. They were very kind to prepare another meal. I did pay for my dinner but they gave me a free dessert. I ate one breast from the second dish and it was fine and had them box up my second breast and leftover mashed potatoes. I went to eat them the following day and unfortunately encountered that the chicken I had taken home had that same rubbery texture has the chicken I sent back which made it completely inedible. Very disappointed but our waiter and management were top notch. My husband's meal was perfect and the dessert was delicious. It was my first time at JJ's and have friends who absolutely adore this restaurant so I was excited to try a meal here. My first impression sadly has left me bummed with my experience.

We enjoy dining here and our menu favs are Boars Ragu and Osso Buco, but unfortunately Osso Buco is off the menu now. Our waiter Christopher was friendly and helpful. Mike Savage paintings decorate the Dining room walls. We highly recommend JJ's and their extensive wine selection.

The food was disgusting. I ordered the calamari, the cheese board, and the shrimp. It was all nasty.

We love JJ’s! The food is always delicious, the service delightful, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Our most recent visit was on a Sunday evening, and Christopher, our server, was attentive, helpful, and friendly while our food was spectacular! Highly recommend and we always make sure we have at least one meal there whenever we visit KC!

A great overall experience! Wonderful vibe, great service, the food was spectacular. The wine list is very, very deep and we had a great pinot noir that didn't break the bank. I had the beef medallions with mushroom sauce and risotto. Exquisite!

Always a pleasant dining experience. This may sound picky, however we dine at many fine dining establishments and often the bread or bread basket is complimentary. JJ's charges a fee.

very god super food super service hidden gem I love this place nice garage free parking covered for weather just take elevator up to the restaurant

Ate here during restaurant week, so the value was good. I got the chicken Marsala. The flavor was good but the chicken had a band of gristle running thru it. Our waitress was very attentive and everything else was prepared well.

Enjoyed dining here during restaurant week. The meal choice was good and best chocolate dessert ever! Our waiter was gracious and knowledgeable and did not rush us Parking indoors is comped and especially nice during cold weather.
