Johnny's Donuts is the BEST. It's the only place I'll buy donuts from anymore. A little pricey (about $21 for a dozen glazed) and cash only, but totally worth it. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. I found Johnny's through KC is the Town on YouTube.

All reviews are right, best donuts in the city. Also some reviews mention he may step out, which was the case when I arrived, but he was back right before his sign said he would be. Worth the 10 min wait.

All my life, I never thought of myself as a person who likes donuts. I never sought them out, I didn’t really crave them, and I wouldn’t often choose them.
