I can't believe I lived in KC nearly my entire life but had never been to Johnny's until this visit! I can't say enough about the donuts..The glazed twists are delightful! Slightly crispy, golden outside with a light,airy inside that melts in your mouth. Fresh and sweet but not overwhelming. Johnny really is the best. Very charismatic and more importantly passionate about what he does. Whenever I come in from out of town I will go in at 5am to get donuts. His fryer is already going and out comes the best donuts I have ever had.
