Terrible customer service. They told me they don’t want my business. After we paid. 😂 don’t even go here
Food was good but all 10 of us complained that it was cold. Server said she would talk to manager but she did not and bybthe time she came back, we had to leave for a concert across the street. Very disappointed.

We were told to sit in the Mezzanine and we would be served. That never happened. So we went to the bar and waited to order food and drinks for over 20 min. Still didn't get served. Bartender wouldn't even acknowledge us. Talk to the manager Mike and it seemed as if he couldn't help (cause he was singing on stage). Horrible! I will never return or recommend. Great music from Delynia Janell and friends, but unfortunately I couldn't enjoy because I was hungry.

I got food poisoning from the French dip sandwich a few years back, ruined my whole weekend and I hope others won't get sick

me and my boyfriend were the only people in on Monday night and we had been waiting for 15 mins for a menu and some waters and we thought it was because of low staff so we gave them the benefit of the doubt, until we kept seeing the wait staff only take white customers leaving me and my boyfriend with nothing still, 20 minutes later a big group of white people come in and the whole staff was taking care of them and asking for their orders. I’m not dumb I could tell they were racially profiling my boyfriend, at that point we had been there for 25 minutes with absolutely nothing. So we left, I wish I would’ve said something to management or something cause like I don’t wanna call racist butttttt you didn’t serve the black ladies next to us too soooooo…. Imma call racist on this restaurant

Service was good considering the crowd. The tenderloin, however, was the worst I've ever had. Like eating deep fried cardboard.

Food and cocktail drinks were delicious. Service was normal like anywhere, not many people there so couldn’t really feel the vibe/atmosphere it gives off. Drinks were a little pricey but not bad.

Came in Tuesday after the underoath concert at the midland. It was about 1030. Took about 15 min to be greeted after sitting down. The place was pretty packed and only saw a single server on.
Ordered a cheese pizza with extra cheese. Failed to put extra cheese on it. Ordered tue 18inch but it measured only 11 inches when I asked how it didn't compared to the normal ny style pizza johnnies is known for the waiteess explained to me that it had the same amount fo dough but the cook didn't spread it out.
I'm sorry I come to johnnies becsuse their service and quality is considtent normally on a ny style pizza. The pizza was horrible and I likely will not be coming back to johnnies which used to be on my top 5 kc stops for a ny style pizza.
I have included the dates of a previous pizza i had at this location also on a busy night and you can see the difference in the pie. My hand was bigger than a slice and that's unheard of at johnnies.
You can also see the pie doesn't even fit the pań.

Great sports bar! We watched a Royals game there and I can only recommend the bar. There are just as many screens hanging here as there are guests sitting there. It's a shame that only the Royals game was shown and not the parallel NFL game. Some of the service staff were a bit unfriendly, compared to the otherwise super friendly Americans, but that was all within reason. We were well entertained and the food was also delicious!

This is a great place to catch football on Sunday!! If you can find a seat, it's worth it. Food is great, and the atmosphere is perfect.
I had the nachos, and they were really tasty.
If I come back to KC, I'd be sure to hit this pub again.

If you're in the mood for Johnny's Tavern, I'd suggest trying a different location. During my visit, I requested to swap the ranch in my order for blue cheese, but the waitress seemed confused, gave me a nod, and then brought out the order with ranch anyway. I had ordered a chicken sandwich, but what I received was more like a brick—the meat was so tough, it left my jaw sore. The ambiance was great for Sunday night football, but the place was too crowded. They were so busy pushing out orders that both the food quality and service noticeably suffered.

Awesome sports pub! TVs everywhere, friendly and fast service (despite Sunday football crowd) and the food was fantastic.
Good hangout but limited options for a single person. Pretzels come in 2's and no option for a slice of pizza. Yes, you can walk across the plaza and go to the pizza place for a slice or for a single giant pretzel. So maybe that's what I should've done instead. And $10 for 1 small beer? Am I at a professional sports game? 1 and done.
