Great place. Fun and safe Conservative gays meet here on Saturday. Wonderful group of men with whom to share thoughts over a drink and feel safe. Highly recommend this place and will continue to come back

This one is worth reading..The only reason I gave one star is because the staff is amazing, the food is amazing, the drinks are amazing... the hired music is amazing. What isn't amazing whole foods corporation (or as the fountain room says not officially affiliated with Whole Foods) & the self entitled guests "Karens" that come out on the weekend Whole Foods (or as the fountain room says on instagram *not officially affiliated with Whole Foods) squeezes every penny they can from patrons by over working the staff. & only provides ONE person to preparring oysters for over 30+ guests who want there oysters before they walk in the door in result oysters take 45 minutes at least even if you want 4. From a local (tourists stay at home) Self entitled humans stay home too Let the locals appreciate the fountain room without your "karen" attitude & cheap tips I don't even work here, but I will be an advocate for what I observe. I will gladly keep spreading the word. Shame on you Whole Foods ("unaffiliated company that's in your building ") Taking advantage of your amazing workers. In other-words over promising under delivering. False advertising. & breaking capacity regulations. Does the staff even get proper breaks? Healthcare? Hours? Pay? I wonder.

The fountain room is a fantastically interesting place. Vibe is like an airport bar but in a grocery store! Margaret , Zack and Joe are awesome bartenders. Pricing is great and brews are some of the best around town. They use an antiquated billing system that is quite fun to experience sitting at the bar but not very much fun for the bartenders. Come on Amazon! Give it a try. You will enjoy it.

Love this Whole Foods Market. Anyplace you can have a beer while shopping is just wow fun! Good selection of everything you could want. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Love the cheese selections, helpful on site butchers, nice produce (the melons have been spectacular the last month). Tonight, Kate, Roger and Christopher were wonderful. And Gregory in the Fountain Room is always fun. Well done.

Love this Whole Foods! I didn't realize having a fav grocery store is something I would brag about as an adult, but idk, I guess that's what adulting is. They have such a great selection of everything: bakery, booze (they even have a bar where you can get a drink while grocery shopping!), healthy snacks, juice bar, and pretty much anything you could want! They sell a lot of local products which is really awesome, and have a cute little area to order food and eat as well!

This is a good Whole Foods to visit. I like the feel at this location a little more compared to the location off 119th Street. My favorite part of this store is along the outer walls of the building. You have the fresh produce, seafood, meat, bakery, self serve hot food station, and the bar/coffee area. Making your way around the store there is something unique to find that you can't find at other grocery stores and there is a deal to find. This is a good place to visit to pick up something you enjoy or something new.

Best vegan coffee cake on the planet. They got me hooked and now they don't make it!! Seriously. It is the only reason I shop here. Won't be going back. It's not nice

My kiddo loves their little "car-carts," so as long as those exist, you'll find us here. But man, we go here every week and the staff has been so unfriendly it makes me feel like we've done something wrong. I hate that feeling, especially when goofing around with my kiddo picking out produce. This is a consistent theme, as many friends IRL have confirmed they've stopped shopping here. Eye-rolling, aloof, unhelpful (at times, not always)... one time I couldn't remember if their Prime membership barcode went through the Whole Foods app or Amazon and they were less than friendly about it and short with me when I asked for guidance. One time my wife bought a handful of bananas and my kiddo had eyes on one and ate it in store. She asked them to please ring up an extra one so we pay for it and the kid fired back, "We can't, just don't steal one next time." No kidding. I would've been furious had I been there, especially because it's simple to ring up. So I'll turn positive for a minute and say that while I have my major frustrations with the vibe of this spot, I do like their produce, I like the location along the trail and in a nearby area of town. I like the relative ease of the store, although it's super congested around the front produce area. I like Ruby Jean's Juicery which just got a spot inside. So it's a win overall, but damn WF, do something to boost that staff morale so we can enjoy an afternoon at the grocery store again.

The Fountain Room is a great place to refresh. The bartenders are always friendly and on point!!! A wonderful gem on the plaza! They have great food specials through the week! Must try!

Great selection on the salad bar. Made us so happy to see so many labeled vegan options!! Produce was so beautiful and great quality. We are on the road heading back home to Texas and this was such a great stop. We stocked up on produce and options from the salad bar.

Finally had a chance to check out the Fountain Room's Friday Night Seafood Menu. Lots of great shellfish and seafood at reasonable prices. Live music on the patio as well! A great way to enjoy the beautiful weather!

I was so excited to hear that Whole Foods was opening in Kansas City and I have been a customer since day one, even though the prices are higher than at other grocery stores in the area. However, the quality and cleanliness has remarkably decreased since the opening. Anyone that was at the grocery store on Monday June 3rd 2019 can attest to this. Empty shelves, moldy perishable goods. I was very mad to see this. Not because of the state itself, but because whole foods sells food at a premium price, so the quality of items should reflect this. I might come back for some hard to get dry goods, but will go elsewhere for everything else

I think we're about done with this Whole Foods. We were so excited about it coming to the neighborhood, but it is disappointing almost every time. More than anything we were excited about the fish counter, but a few times it has smelled very fish-y, in a way that is unappealing. We've also had a lot of trouble getting salmon filets without bones, even after expressly asking for them - always bones, and sometimes a lot of them. One time we went in there and they didn't have any salmon at all. Today, my wife got sushi and threw it away after one bite. It both smelled and tasted very fish-y and had a terrible tasting sauce on top. At one point I wondered if Whole Foods could put Brookside Market out of business when they came to the neighborhood, but I no longer worry about that.
