Tbh probably the most consistent and top sushi quality experience in kc that ive had! The tamago futo maki roll is perfect! Simple salmon roll is perfect as well! The fish always tastes very fresh and juicy and full of flavor. Its in a little side shop of an apartment building so parking and pickup can be a little awkward but its worth it!

I don’t understand the good reviews. We ordered take out. Upon arrival at the time it was supposed to be ready we were told they just got the order and it would be 10-15minutes. No nearby parking. The hostess was not very nice. The place was hot. 25 minutes later we finally got our food. Our sushi which should have been cold was warm. Our chicken teriyaki which should have been hot was cold and flavorless. They were out of house salad that was supposed to come with our meal so offered extra soup. The broccoli that came with the chicken teriyaki was past its prime, discolored with rot.

Don't know if it's me or Kabuki but over the years I feel the food quality has worsened and the prices have increased. I understand inflation has hit us all but I live nearby and would rather drive to spend my money elsewhere. The food itself is serviceable but the last few times I've eaten there I've been disappointed.

The food was amazing. I’ve been to this place a few times before and loved it had a very kind waitress before. I went yesterday with my boyfriend and his family and the service was AWFUL it was one waitress i’ve never seen before a very pretty younger 17-20 year old hispanic girl. Her table waiting skills were some of the worst i’ve ever seen working in the food service. She took half an hour after we were all visibly done to give us our check after i asked her. She did not check on our table at all. Her manners were very rude and unprofessional. She did not even take our drink orders i had to ask her, and then continued to drop my boyfriends aunts credit card loosing it. I tried being kind despite the bad service but she was still very rude and not very social. I recommend if you really want people to continue coming to hire better servers because it makes or breaks the experience. I am sure that she was not trying to be rude on purpose but i seriously do not think this is the line of work for her.

Great spot for fantastically fresh and delicious sushi! Our group had a good deal of sushi, but also tried the salmon teriyaki, miso soup and edamame appetizers. All was fresh and delicious. Server was warm and welcoming. Parking was odd, so just parked across the way at the bank.
