Well the kitchen closed ??? no late nite food menu anymore. So I made an airplane out of that menu to show how that flys with me. Abby was an honest, down to earth great server. Thank you Abby. To the the manager, please do better in letting customers know that late night food is no longer available, I have a craving for those Mexican cigars that no place can satisfy. Great place, good drinks, good food on the regular menu. Thanks also to Michael the bar back, you're doing great.
Thank you

American twist on Irish pub favorites. Perfect fish and chips but don't expect mushy peas and curry. The Shepard's pie is actually a cottage pie. Full bar, spacious seating. Oddly blasting dance music instead of Irish drinking songs, owner seems to wish they'd bought a nightclub.

Best service by the bartenders! I would come back just because of them! Not only great service that is personable, great conversations as well. Prices were not bad for a drink in the city area. Absolutely adore the beer foam print-out on it, so cool! Will be back again!

Food was terrible. I got a Caesar salad and could tell it was Kraft. It came with a melted Parmesan chip on top that was cold and hard. My partner got a brisket sandwich and said it was dry. His beer was also not a draft and just a poured can. Building was also a maze and had to go through the back to get in. Probs just a place to get local drafts. Food was awful and would be better at Taco Bell where we went after.

When we entered the pub, we thought we were in the front, as there was a reception area and a sign that said something like, "See a hostess to be seated," but no one was to be found. We walked further in and stood near the stage for at least 5 minutes before a waiter finally acknowledged us and told us the hostess stand was on the other end. By that time, there was a wait as it was before the Barry Manilow concert. I asked the curt hostess if there were any seats and she said, "Outside." It was 100 degrees yesterday, so we stood in the cramped space by the door where servers were trying to get in and out of the kitchen (when there was a spacious reception area on the other end of the restaurant). When we did get seated, our friend had been looking forward to a Magners Irish cider, the pub was out. She and my partner wanted to try the soups and they didn't have soup. The server said, "It's 100 degrees out," as if no one was supposed to order soup in summer. I ordered the fish and "chips," which amounted to soggy, greasy fish that wasn't done in the middle and American fries. My partner and friend both ordered the Shepherd's Pie, but instead of a nice brown and little crisp top, it was drowned in melted cheese, which made it greasy. I asked for lemon for my water twice and never received it and one in our party finally had to go track down some pepper herself. Finally, when the bill came, we were shocked our beers were $10-$11 each (served in plastic cups and we had plastic silverware, too). Appetizer, 4 beers, 3 meals = $150 and the only thing Irish about this place was the name. A 5 star price for a 1 star experience. I'd skip this place.

This place has a ton of potential as a night life destination. Especially if they start utilizing djs or live music. It's the perfect more chill place to grab a drink late nights while the main PNL area is packed.

I was dropped at the corner and this was the first place I could get a drink! Walked into it and realised it was the back door and no one was around. Walked all the way to the entrance and said hellos! It was a great view from the tall tables outside. I sat there for nearly 30 minutes and not even one of them from the restaurant approached me. I could see others getting served right next to me and I was completely ignored. After I tried to get their attention few times - I got up and left. I was thirsty and walked to the bar and got a glass myself. Asked him as well on what is happening and no one is there (place was quite empty for them to be so busy and ignore me). Anyway, took my money elsewhere and spent it. Place not worth if they do not give respect and attention to their patrons. To hell with this place ?

When I walked in the bartender was changing kegs and man he was killin it with the groups of people that walked in. I got to catch the end of the Royals game. I just got the nachos and a melon something. Quick and easy. But I appreciated how quick and patient the dude was. Next time I come back, Hooley House is a stop I'll be at ?
