I waited 3 years to come here (KC transplant), after passing it multiple times a week, as I live about a 5 minute drive away.
My dear friend was racially profiled and treated poorly by the bartender. I will not be back, and am disappointed. It takes a lot to get me out of my character, and I was close. An older gentleman who seemed to be the manager had a foul attitude as well, and clearly meant to intimidate our group as he banged chairs around on the floor, stacking and unstacking them, and glared repeatedly.
Won't be back. Sad that the place I waited to experience with dear friends was a let-down.

Solid bar, however, If you even at the slightest whisper to one of the bartenders to change a tv to a prime time college football game, prepare to get scolded and yelled at by them for requesting such an “absurd” request. Good thing big bang theory is taking up half of the tvs, so I guess I’m not that upset I can’t watch the games.

My BF and I are out of town, and we were looking for a place to eat lunch. We walked in looking like hella tourists. The bartender was by far the coolest and nicest person I've ever met on my travels! She pointed us in the direction of all awesome places. Super thankful to have ran into her.

Traditional and old place I think there is a way to preserve in a better way this place, important because is historic but not attractive for new generations.
