Disappointed. My daughter's cheeseburger and macaroni turned out better than the overpriced entrees others ordered. Salmon was overcooked and came with cold fried rice. Another meal was Fish and Chips where the fries were barely cooked. Fourth meal was a California roll, no issues to report. State of restaurant, especially cleanliness, was well below "average". We will not return.

BEWARE!!!! I picked this restaurant for my 60th birthday. My son, daughter-in-law, and a friend of mine reserved a table for 4. We called because we were stuck in traffic and we didn't wanna lose our reservation. They told us that they would wait 15 minutes but when we got there, the restaurant wasn't even full and it wasn't even full the entire time we were there. The food was mediocre and way overpriced. I could've got the same meal at a local diner. The string beans and mash potatoes were cold. The Brussel sprouts were expensive for the amount and drowned in too much balsamic The beef wasn't any different than you get it any other restaurant. The bill came out to $350. We only ordered two beers one wine and one very small sake. When the bill came it was set on a QR code with no breakdown of check. My son tipped the waitress another $50 She was the only good thing about our experience  I wish I had read reviews on the restaurant prior to picking it. Lesson learned on my part. please don't make the same mistake. I feel we would have been better off at a local steakhouse or a diner of my 60th Birthday. Also , we were charged extra $10 for lobster in Mac and cheese there was only one small piece added. I am not someone who writes reviews let alone negative. I hope this review saves you from having a similar experience.

We have been here several times and had good experiences. Unfortunately our most recent experience was marred by extremely slow service and a negative customer to customer experience. The waiter was friendly, but he forgot to retrieve our food from the counter, so our food arrived lukewarm. Every interaction we had with the waiter was delayed (45 min to get our food, he left the table after taking one person's dessert order but without taking dessert orders from the rest of us, etc . . ,). Even after another member of the wait staff was asked to get our waiter's attention, which we saw her do, he didn't com to our table for at least another 5 min. The negative interaction with another customer was the result of a seatback being broken between the booths and the annoyance of a bouncing chair back after every slight movement. The other party believed the jostling to be intentional and became aggressive. The wait staff relocate the other party, but the manager didn't come and check in on us or make any acknowledgement regarding the incident. They even placed a new party in that booth without making any acknowledgment of the previous issue. We enjoyed the food but this experience has lessened our desire to return.

When we got there they never sat us we had to seat ourselves,then the appetizers came 29 mins before the drinks , I ordered a prime rib that never came then the waitress comes to tell me there out of rib so i take the kc strip it comes with the wives meal a hour later.cold steak cold sweet potatoes fries, one of the worst restaurants i have ever been to ,mgrs standing around blaming the help ,kitchen way under staff and no mgrs helping the kitchen but there happy standing around partying with customers , dont go there

First time at Kona Grill. I thought this was a higher-end restaurant given its prices and location. Nothing about my experience was high end other than the prices. I ordered a $25 hamburger cooked medium. What I got was 2 charred to a crisp frozen school cafeteria patties. I would have sent them back except we had been waiting so long for our food I was starving and simply wanted to leave. Our waitress barely checked on us. Our water was finally refilled as we left. Our appetizer came out a minute before our entrees. The restroom reminded me of a dive bar-dirty, water and paper towels all over the floor, just gross. I rarely leave reviews and fairly easy to please but this experience was so horrible I don't want anyone else having to relive it.

Unfortunately this was an all around bad evening. The waitress might have been slammed but we waited forever for any food and she forgot one of the diners items so she didn't eat as we already waited so long for the others appetizers. The 22$ chicken sliders were dry and skinny little things with some coleslaw. The lettuce wrap mixture was great but the lettuce was not the kind you can roll or make any kind of wrap with. The waitress bright a wine bottle which was wrong and already opened before showing, said it was the wrong one and then we still drank and paid for it. The bartender said he doesn't know about any wines and also ‘substituted' items to make a manhattan which were awful. Just an all around disappointing and expensive experience.

Usually love this place for happy hour but went for dinner and had a horrible experience. Ordered an espresso martini that was too sweet to even drink, server didn't come back for sometime for me to ask for a replacement. Received new drink in a dirty glass with debris in the glass. Tacos were extremely over priced for what came with them.

Although I wanna thank & appreciate the waitress for having a positive attitude, helpful as can be. The management & cooks seem to be not so considerate and was not very helpful or accommodating. The manager on duty that evening was not helpful and did not help his staff assist with anything. The cooks messed up kids and adults order. I would not recommend a big party to the plaza location. Nothing felt like it went smooth. Restaurant was supper un prepared. Thank you again for the server's hard work. It was appreciated.

Horrible experience on my birthday I will never recover from that I felt like it was being racially profiled and by the way my experience went I've come always with no issue but yesterday Celebrating my birthday it was horrible

The supposed “ baby back rib “ I ordered was just a barbecue covered lump of meat and the “ California sushi “ I also ordered must’ve came from the California land mines because it was just a store bought cheap sushi . The service took atleast 15 minutes for the “ food “ . I did to go but the inside was cool . 1 Star do not waste your money here
( the 2 items costed $50 !!! ) .

Food was ok and subpar for price; table was behind a post and server seemed to lose track that we were there. Didn't get a tea refill until our meal was almost finished even though server mentioned they'd be “right back” with a refill.

We ended up leaving after waiting over 10 minutes to even be asked our drink order and it wasn’t even busy!!! For the amount they charge, better service is needed.
