Good Food. Questionable Service.Parking is under the bridge, but it's not marked and it's filthy. If it's private parking for you, why not make sure the parking lot is free of debris and add clear signage?We walked in and the hostess did not greet us. She just stood there, lol. Finally, I said "Hi, 2 please." She sat us down and didn't ask about drinks or tell us our Server would be right with us. We sat there for several minutes without interaction from anyone. Lots of staff walking around, but no one approached us. As we were discussing whether or not to go across the street to Privee, finally, our waiter came out and took our drink and food order. He was nice and attentive and our tip reflected our appreciation for him.However, we asked the lady who brought our drinks for a straw and she never brought them. She kept cleaning tables and walking by like we hadn't asked anything.There was a man in slacks and a vest who brought out our first dish and we had to ask him for straws since she never brought them.All of the food was good, no complaints there, but service alone makes me never want to return.We watched a couple get seated after us. The hostess asked for their drink order as soon as she seated them, then a server arrived within 3 minutes of them being seated to take their order. Yes, I tracked the time because it was noticeably ridiculous. They had a completely different experience than us.When we were leaving, there were 3 staff members standing near the front door. They literally watched me walk almost out the door before saying "thanks for coming in."All of the female staff members need to be retrained. Atleast the ones in the front of the house.Great concept. Good Food. Poor service. Well, poor service for certain people, I guess?

Our experience at La Bodega was overall really good. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service and atmosphere were nice.We ordered one pulled pork tapa and the paella verduras and 2 Spanish coffees!Flavors were unique and tasty.We were under the impression that our coffees would be prepared tableside and were a little disappointed that they were prepared at the bar. We saw that another table ordered the same thing, and it was prepared at their table. So be sure to ask if you are expecting it to be a table side experience.The other note I would make is that while the tapas are delicious, they are not a good value. The portions are very small. The paella, in my opinion, was a better value.We would come back again, but would probably stick with just the paella and drinks.

My husband took me for my birthday and all of the food was so good. All the staff was amazing. I had a lovely conversation with the genteel who cleared our table. He was from a place near where my family is from.The prices were very reasonable too. We were surprised it wasn't more when the bill came.We will be going there again for my mom's birthday.
