I went there for coffee. They don't know how to make coffee. I brought 3 lattes and put all 3 of them in the trash. Disappointed. No cold foam. No whipped cream. No expresso. And don't understand the ratios for making a latte. The donuts were okay. The service could have been better. I was no my way to a different coffee when I rode by this shop so I turned around. Jokes on me. Should have keep going.

We are so blessed that there is a Lamar's 5 minutes from our home! Get there early for the best selection. My spouse loves their buttermilk bar. My son loves the ones with sprinkles. Me... honey glazed...why try something beyond that perfection?! They have 4 or 5 tables and hot coffee and a case of drinks including milk in plain, strawberry & chocolate. Service is at the front counter, one customer at a time. Feels welcoming and old timey and lovely! Parking can be a bit tight just in front, but there is more parking in a lot to the left of the building. At the end of October, you could take the new streetcar there. Love me some Lamar's Donuts!

Lamar's have been my favorite donuts for like a hundred years. I used to stop in for a dozen a couple times/month. Now they are $39.00 for a dozen and it's turned into more like a yearly treat. Drat!!

OVER PRICED!!! The donut man is running a cash grab business. Yikes! Too much for anyone who is aware of the average cost of donuts. The donuts we buy normally cost $24, we bought the same donuts from this place and it cost $78!!!’ These donuts at that price better be Food Network quality. You leave little room for people to be forgiving on the taste and quality of your product when you are high way robbery.
