Ordered a beef sandwich and a short end dry. The sandwich was nearly all fat, the good part was quite tasty. The shortened was tasty if a bit overchared. The beans fries and slaw were good. I think we just got a bad sandwich (hey it happens) I would try them again, just check your order before leaving.
Came here for my food pick up, stayed for the atmosphere, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing. Nice workers and the restaurant smelled amazing. Whenever I go to Kansas City, I always make sure to drop by.
After the Chiefs game we were just HUNGRY. And found this place still open and close so thought we'd try it. I have to say that I'm glad we did. The food was amazing! Ordered a pound of pork and the baked beans and wow was it good. Large portions and watched the cook slice it right out of that smoker. This is a hidden small place but the atmosphere was welcoming and even the conversation with other patrons was great. It was late and close to closing but they still fixed...
