If you are trying to find a nice Italian restaurant that is worth the money, this is it. Lidia's has a gorgeous dining room and building. The food is really high quality. Only complaint I had was that the all you can eat pasta took a while to get refills. It took about 30 minutes between refills which just really drags out the dinner by the end of it. But with good company, this may not be an issue for you!

This is our second time to use the pvt. dining room with 63 guests this time. The food, location and the service was great! We plan to come back for our next reunion!Dietary restrictions: Our guests with dietary restrictions were provided wonderful options without any difficulty!

We recently hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner at Lidia’s and we were so thrilled with everything. Terra, the event coordinator there, was so helpful. She always responded to my emails and phone calls quickly, and when we arrived, everything was set up perfectly and just as we had requested. All of the guests raved about the food and the servers were top-notch. We chose to use the upstairs room, which was so, so beautiful, especially as the sun set. It was the perfect size for our party of just over 40, although I do believe it would hold more people nicely. I would highly recommend Lidia’s!

Attended a work event in a private dining area. The food was meh, nothing special or would make anyone want to come back for more. Finger food and not a napkin in sight. Asked for napkins and nothing came. 15 minutes later went grabbed cocktail napkins to wipe our oily fingers. Not impressed.

We hosted a bridal luncheon and shower for 22 people on a Saturday afternoon. Terra was wonderful to help guide menu selections. We had several people with various dietary restrictions and Lidia's accomated everyone. The upstairs space was perfect. The guests could hear each other, and the food was amazing. Miranda provided amazing service from beginning to end! She even went above and beyond and helped load gifts into our car afterwards. I certainly didn't expect that. I highly recommend hosting any type of event at Lidias.

Great food and service! Too bad my truck was broken in to in broad daylight, 30 yards from the front door! Better security is needed.

It was our first time here and had a wonderful experience and meal. Andy was our waiter and his information and attention was spot on. Of all things, we loved the bread and garbanzo bean spread. Wine selections were great as they covered all price ranges and I truly enjoyed my osso bucco. The only downside was we were in a dining area with tables that were way too close. We asked to be moved and were accommodated but also saw multiple people ask for the same courtesy. That’s something management should think about.

Been here multiple times now, both for business and personal dinners. Very nice traditional Italian place. I always get the rigatoni dish and it is done very well. Technically this dish doesn’t exist on the menu so every time I have to I go off the menu. They will make this dish as part of the pasta trio offering. So you might get up charged for a basic dish. Service is fast and friendly. This place can be both business like or romantic depending on where you sit. It is on the higher end of cost. Overall highly recommend and will come back for more.

Terrific too-notch service, all staff were exemplary. Beautiful restaurant, extremely full; obviously a favorite local spot. For us it was too loud, but many might like the bustling sound of diners having a pleasant dining experience.Ordered fritto misto, fegato, and scampi for appetizers. All came out rather quickly.Fritto Misto - all was cooked just right. Haphazard application of salt practically ruined the dish. The pieces that were unsalted or lightly salted were good. About half the pieces could be mistaken for spoonfuls of salt.Fegato - extremely good, all five persons at our table who like liver loved the fegato. Really impressive ability to make liver a superstar.Scampi - extremely cooked shrimp, great presentation, dish likely is normally a great dish. Ours was drenched in lemon, couldn’t taste anything except lemon. For entrees we got the Osso Buco, Gnocchi, Pollo Al Limone, Brasato, and Bolognese. All came out in a reasonable time and all were served hot.Osso Buco - meat was extremely tender, but tasted like lemon peel for some reason making it undesirable. Risotto tasted like it was half salt, half risotto; inedible.Gnocchi - sauce tasted exactly like chef boyardee ravioli sauce. Presentation was similar to a can of chef boyardee.Pollo al Limone - tasted like liver, couldn’t detect lemon at all; appeared to have been boiled to cook it.Brasato - tender, but flavorless. Couldn’t find the horseradish gremolata. Very bland dish.Bolognese - crunchy noodles, somewhere in between uncooked and al dente. Flavorless sauce. Appearance was basic, noodles with a thin sauce light coating. Not something one would normally find in a quality dining establishment. We definitely were displeased with our dishes and politely informed the waiter as such when I attempted to give him my credit card to pay for the meal so we could leave and dine elsewhere. The waiter heard us and said he’d be right back. He got a leader, possibly the owner, who made the decision to forgo charging us for all of our entrees (we ate half a dozen bites of each meal, checking and rechecking the dishes). Really appreciate the restaurant’s respect for customer opinion and willingness to take action. We were charged for the appetizers as we did eat them.Note: We did leave an appropriate tip for the waiter, one based on the full charge we would have had if we had paid in full. He did an amazing job and did the all the work of the full meal, we just seriously disliked the food. Also, the place was jam packed. It is quite possible we had the one-off experience. If others got the dishes we did, I strongly believe this restaurant would go under quickly.Kid-friendliness: Waiter did awesome ensuring the kids’ wishes regarding their meal were heard.

This was not my first visit. The food is always excellent, as is the service. Highly recommended. It's in a converted freight warehouse from the railroad era. Beautiful building with great views of the back of Union Station.Parking: The entrance is on the south side of the building, off the parking lot. Access the parking lot via portals through the building. Our table was near an entrance on the north side. The doors on that side are locked. One party parked on the street and tried to enter there.

The pasta tasting experience is so much food! They load your plate with three different pastas, I have no idea how anyone could finish it. They have a 3 course special that includes that, a large caesar salad and dessert for $33! Make a reservation because it ends up being very crowded. We also had the short rib over mashed potatoes which was very good.
