This place has a family-run feel that's so fun. Sometimes they just send you back to the kitchen and show you everything that's cooking, and you order right there. They don't have margaritas, but they have something better. Try the Paloma.

Excellent authentic mexican food, family owned. Stuffed meat burrito was the best my husband's ever had. Street tacos and chicken enchiladas were delicious. Guac was homemade on the spot and soooo good. Comp chips and salsa were fabulous. Huge, handcrafted Paloma and it was the perfect compliment to an amazing meal! We'll definitely return to Los Alamos Cochina!!

Customer service was on point...guy broke down the whole menu for us as it was our first time. Very authentic. Fresh. 10/10 experience would 100% recommend. We will be back soon.

When the boss is waiting tables you know it's the right place. He explained the whole menu to me (a Norwegian from Minnesota) before we were even seated. Casual dining , I'm ok with the self serve drinks. Food was awesome. My Hispanic brother in law was with me and this is the place he and my sister have been looking for since moving to KC..
