To begin with, they don't have good customer service. My husband got a piece of toothpick in his taco, and that made me a little hesitant to eat my food. I really wanted to try this place but I definitely wouldn't go back.
Some of the best local Mexican in a not so nice neighborhood.

My husband and I ate here last night and honestly did not understand what all the fuss is about. The menu was so very basic they don't have specific menu items per se they will tell you that they have burritos that's it and just list a bunch of different meats they do not tell you what they put in them, That's a surprise. Basically they have tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. No fajitas no enchiladas.. nada. The street tacos were just OK. There was nothing extraordinary about them and honestly the carne asada was kind of greasy. The salsa they brought to the table (you have to ask for chips and salsa) was so ridiculously hot, not spicy - just HOT, even my Mexican husband was struggling trying to cool his mouth down. I mean it was pointlessly hot to where that's all you could taste. I don't get it. We ordered and asked if both dinners came with rice and beans and was told yes. Two minutes later they bring one paper plate of rice and beans separately to the table, not with the dinners. (They only have paper plates and plastic utensils.) Also, If you do not speak Spanish you might have a little trouble with the menu and ordering here. I speak some Spanish but our waitress ended up having to find someone else to help us. They also will not bring you your check. They don't tell you you need to go to the kitchen to pay. We had to figure that out ourselves. Despite the neighborhood the restaurant is actually pretty decent but thats it. We should have just gone to San Antonio's.
Best horchata I've ever had in my life Their burritos are also one of my favorites in the city. It's definitely worth checking out!

I dropped in here a few weeks ago for a bite. The best part is that the prices are very reasonable. You can eat here for about $10 a person and feel full walking away. I don't like that they bring you bottled water instead of tap and charge you for it, but it's not a deal breaker. I wish I knew Spanish because our waitress spoke little English, so we had a little communication problem, but nothing Google translate can't take care of!

Amazing street tacos!
I called and they kept me on hold for 10 minutes and they never took my order. We always go here and we like the food but the customer service is terrible.

The food was good. The people were nice the area where it is sort of ghetto and I’m not trying to insult anybody, but yeah for me and my wife looked kind of dangerous but the people at the restaurant and the food. They were good nice people.
