Very tasty!
Las gorditas muy crujientes de harina
The place is small but the food is delicious, authentic Mexican food
This place is such a great find! The food is as authentic as it gets - hands down the best chilaquiles I’ve had outside of Mexico. Great service, clean dining room and over the top delicious food. Can’t recommend it enough.
Such a unique and delicious alternative to traditional Tex-Mex. The tortas are outstanding!
This is by far the best authentic Mexican eatery in the Kansas City area. It’s exactly what I had been hoping to find. I particularly like the birria soup, birria tacos, and the tamales are fabulous (available weekends); the chilaquiles are also great. I’m looking forward to trying the other menu options. Yum!
Their prices are far, Great burritos for breakfast. Jamaica water is great. I haven't tried most of the menu, but so far im satisfied with everything. I usually take to go which is fast, Though their sit down dont really have a system going so it effects their service.
The food is absolutely excellent.

Very busy. You have to get there, order when you sit down, and stay on top of them to make sure you get order out quick.

The gorditas are very rich in flavor
Just a small detail, the potatoes in the stews are a little hard but the flavor is delicious 😋

This place is serving the best chilaquiles in KC. Absolutely the best I've personally had. Rojo and Verde are both incredible. The place is small and is a hole in the wall in a developing community. Don't expect anything fancy or to walk in and immediately grab a table.
The food is worth the waiting for. Parking is all on the street so be prepared for that. Absolutely supports this business, we're lucky to have them.

I'm trying to figure out how I was served 3 and 1/3 tamales when I ordered four, and the server just kept looking at me like I was crazy! Aaaand, they charged me for four! She said, that was the last tamale! Ok, then only sell three if you only have three!! I had to get up to find my server who would grab a broom and sweep in an opposite corner of the restaurant every time I looked. The whole vibe was weird, and the Gringa was not welcome there, it was obvious. Too expensive, especially for a burrito you couldn't cut with a knife. They also have no queso, if they yes, it will be a bowl of cold shredded cheese to add to the burrito. I gave a two because the poblano tamales were fire! Never seen them with poblano chunks that I thought were mushrooms, at first. Sodas are just plastic bottles! The waste!!!
