Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop

I have loved this place for decades and no longer live in KC. This time, I walked in the back door and waited at the hostess station for a few before someone asked what I needed. I said I wanted to dine in and she sent me to the main hostess station. I stood at the empty station for several minutes while she played on her phone before walking back to me to take me to a table. At the table I noticed that their prik nampla (thai chillies in fish sauce) is now made with jalapenos. This place is what I was the most excited about on this visit.. this is the place that really got me into spicy food! It seems like things have finally changed. I'll give it another try next time, but I'm really disappointed.

Had three different dishes and the edamame. Edamame was cooked in a spicy oil and was great. Other dishes were good but the drunken noodles were the most delicious. Also had Pokemon playing at the bar so amazing entertainment.

Delicious food, great / helpful service and really cute atmosphere. Wonderful vegan options.

The atmosphere is akin to a garage with concrete floors. Beef satay was very disappointing as it lacked peanut sauce and should have been called beef on a stick without peanut sauce. The pad se ew was more enjoyable with lots of noodles and meat but it was somewhat dry and lacking a good sauce. Service was very good with no concerns.

Julian provided xceptional service and the recommendation of Thai Cashew Chicken was spot on. The vegetables were crisp, the chicken seasoned well, and an adequate spice level. The restaurant was clean, naturally lit, and the atmospher was casual and calm!

The ONLY worthy pad Thai in KC. Their house salad, crab Rangoon and Thai cashew chicken was top tier, as always. This place never disappoints.

So this was my first time being inside of Lulu's very eclectic very poised and rustic loved it. Took a Birthday Lady 🎈 and she suggested this. So I opted for the mild sticky wings crab rangoon crab fried rice with shrimp and drunken noodles with shrimp really really good. I also enjoyed the crispy garlic and the jalapeno peppers that is already on the table very spicy and the garlic was a nice touch. The wings were done perfectly nice sauce my drunken noodles were cooked perfectly everything was fresh nice and hot crab rangoons was not doughy very clean and crisp and the crab fried rice with shrimp was delectable I will be back. I will say they need to do better with the parking situation that sucked terribly very inconvenient I know I'm not the only one.

Lulu's has been a favorite of mine for many years. I love having a place I can take visitors to, and recommend to friends traveling to the city. It never disappoints! My usual order is the Rainbow Peanut Noodles with pork! 🔥 Food and staff are the BEST!!

Very disappointed in this place. After hearing good things, I received my order and it was the most bland Pad Thai I have ever seen. Immediately ordered from a different restaurant.

The food is out of this world fantastic! I was served by a wonderfully fun and knowledgeable wait staff, Toffee, and an incredible server, Matt! Recommendations were spot-on and I don't know how food can be served so quickly and deliciously! I will return soon!
