I've been eating here since I was a little kid and my grandpa used to bring me here for breakfast. This place is a national treasure. The biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever tasted. They have a daily pie menu and the pies are CRAZY good.

We stopped in for dinner one night. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The non-smoking side was good, we weren't bothered by smoke. The food was only so-so. I've heard breakfast is better so I will probably come back to try it.

I tried their country breakfast with biscuits and gravy - the biscuits were fluffy and buttery, and the gravy had that perfect peppery kick. The whole place has a cozy, small-town vibe with mismatched decor and smiling staff who treat you like family. You can tell the locals love it, judging by all the regulars chatting with the servers by name
