Always amazing and makes for a happy toddler! We love to walk to mcclains on Sundays. Choosing a basked item is a must! Everything is delicious. The chocolate pear scone yummy! Very family friendly but gets busy by 9 so maybe leave the stroller outside. Great service and great coffee! Try the market latte!

We have been coming here for years and it only seems to get better and better. I've had nothing but great experiences. The food and drink is fairly priced and very good. The atmosphere is fun, a lot of local things. Service is great, everyone is always in a good mood and the employees all seem very happy! Highly recommended if you're in the area

Outstanding selection of breakfast and lunch option. Particularly love the breakfast burritos in the morning and the chicken salad sandwich for lunch! Drink selection is a can't go wrong situation. The treats and deserts are all fantastic as well. Service is great, always warm, friendly and able to answer any questions you may have. Ambiance is laid back and relaxed, usually a low buzz of conversation providing you cover to have a private conversation without your ears being constantly bombarded. Over all cannot rate this spot high enough.

My mom grew up in the Waldo neighborhood and went to this location as a child. I was so excited to be able to preorder a cake online at the last minute for her birthday. I arrived in town, swung by McLain’s, the cake was ready and perfect, and I was off to her last minute, surprise lunch! The cake tasted amazing, was super moist, and was really pretty. I ordered the modern classic style of cake, with red velvet cake, and cream cheese filling.Thanks for helping to make her 76th birthday a great one!
