Decent bagel spot in Downtown KC, a good selection and friendly staff.

Amazing bagels obviously but don’t bother putting in an order online. Submitted a pick up order at 945 on a Sunday with 10:05 promised pick up time. Waited in line for 15 minutes.. and by the time I reached the counter they hadn’t even started on the order. Why don’t they have a designated pick up spot?

Good bagel but not the best I've ever had. They were a little light on the lox but everything tasted good. Cute little place.

I was very excited to see a bagel shop while walking the streets of downtown, even more excited that it was called Meshuggah. I went in and got a smoked salmon and cream cheese, with capers, onion and tomato. There could have been a lot more capers added, but overall it wasn’t a bad bagel, but it definitely wasn’t the best. If you are craving a bagel, it will do the trick.

Went early on a Sunday morning and the place was empty. Bagel was fresh with plenty of cream cheese.

Really nice bagels. Tried my first bialy here. Super good with rhe caramelized onions and poppy seeds and their hummus. I can strongly recommend that combo. My friends had some salmon bagels and they were as good!

Bagels themselves were very good but next time I’ll just buy the toppings separately and make it myself. By the time I got home mine was a sloppy mess.

We stopped at Meshuggah Bagels for breakfast, and the bagels were extremely yummy! The coffee was average, and so was the service. The staff seemed unmotivated, which made us feel unwelcome as guests. However, the interior was very cute, and overall, we enjoyed our meal.

These are the best bagels in town. My only frustration is they charge a service fee to order online but ignore you at the counter and make you wait in the long regular line for pick up. Please work on making picking up online convenient if you charge a convenience fee

I grew up in NYC. I never know what to expect when getting a bagel anymore, especially in the Midwest, where I live now. Even when I visit my sisters in NYC a lot of the bagels are way bigger and doughier than the bagels of my youth.
So I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped in at Meshuggah Bagel. They are the correct size and tasty. The cream cheese was delightfully creamy and fresh, and the perfect consistency. I did not get it toasted. I prefer the texture of a fresh bagel, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.
You won’t get a NYC atmosphere here though. The place is spotlessly clean, and the staff is friendly and pleasant. To me, that’s a good thing.
