I’m not one to go out and eat Mexican food but when you come to Mexico Lindo the service welcomes you and the quality of food reminds you of home! We’ve had catering for get togethers and our guests eat the trays clean.

Really enjoyed our food. The guacamole was so fresh and yum. Our server knew what we needed before we could ask. Was a pleasure eating there. Will be back.

We were greeted and led to a booth right away with chips and salsa served immediately.
Granted, we arrived before a bit of dinner rush, yet still impressed with service.
The margueritas were very good.too.
Food was delicious. I love the small plate combos and my husband enjoyed a regular combo; both with compliments to the chef! Everything was fresh and tasty. He especially enjoyed the tamale which are often not the highlight of a combo meal.
We indulged in fried ice cream for dessert. 5 out of 5 stars

I drive semi truck and stop at a LOT of Mexican restaurants, as that's my favorite type of food. In the past year alone, I've been to restaurants in Atlanta, San Antonio, Louisville, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Nashville, WinstonSalem, Des Moines, etc. I have been wanting to try out Mexico Lindo KC, but my schedule hadn't been working out...until it finally did. From my experience, the first thing you taste at most Mexican restaurants is the salsa and I've found, not always, but much of the time, if the salsa is bland, so is the food. Well, Mexico Lindo KC not only met my Salsa-Snob expectations, but exceeded them so much that I want a jar of it in my fridge! Then, came the food. I usually sample the enchiladas, then if I fancy a return trip, branch out into fajitas, chimichangas, etc. Most restaurants don't get a return visit, sadly. I decided to do something different and try Mexico Lindo's combination of chicken enchilada/beef taco/tamale. The first bite was met with such rich flavor that I was actually shocked how good it was. I should have known from the Salsa, but I've been fooled before. In addition to the great food, I don't want to forget to mention the service was to notch. I met 3 different servers and they were all very friendly, attentive and helped make my dining experience rememberable. I'm so impressed that I'm placing Mexico Lindo KC in top place of my all time favorites. Thank you Ismael for creating a perfect dining experience! I'll be back very soon. Jeff

The food is good and the drinks, however, the drinks have gotten smaller and a lot more expensive by 60% in the last year.

Take her here and order the Mango magerita with chamoya straw, and the barria tacos Sub for charro beans in no time she'll be dancing in her seat and forgotten whatever dumb thing you said... Mexico Lindo wowed us on our recent visit. Our party ordered Margaritas, queso and hot salsa prior to our entrees. We also had a difficult toddler with us - the staff went out of their way to make her feel comfortable so we could enjoy our dinner. The Margaritas got raves, and our meals (Enchiladas, Mole, Cancun Platter) were delicious. Wonderful to have such a great spot to dine at in south KC.

They charge for credit card fees more than the fees actually are. We went there weekly. Now will never go again since they over charge.

Try the burrito with carnitas! Great food, lovely people.

I would like to dine there again. I do know one thing is they make a bucket size rita. I have never seen one that big anywhere else.

I came in here by accident but it was alright. The Cantarito was good. The Birria tacos was missing a little flavor.
