This place is the bee's knees! The person at the counter (who I think might have been the owner?) was super nice, very patient, and accommodating to what we wanted to order and try! The shaved ice had tons of syrup in it, which I love, and all of the ice cream flavors I tried were delicious! Shoutout to the cereal milk flavor in particular. It's also got a really neat, 50s-style retro decorating scheme reminiscent of Miami itself. It's honestly just a really cool place! We'll definitely be back!

On a recent visit, for soft serve they only had vanilla. Chocolate was not working for some reason. Ordered a regular serve cone instead. The ice cream I purchased was nearly melted and the consistency of whipped cream. I informed the staff that the freezer is probably 20-degrees too warm but they shrugged. I had to finish the cone very quickly since it was sliding off the cone.The parlor doesn't make its own ice cream. Instead, it serves ice cream from Sylas and Maddy's. Interestingly, Miami Ice's prices are a lot higher compared to prices at Sylas and Maddy locations. The variety is less too (~12 flavors compared to 30+).

So this review was actually for zero stars because I wasn’t even able to have an experience here. If a store would like to change their hours, that’s one thing, but to deny service of almost everything but scoops of ice cream before closing; on a Friday night at that seems wild to me. Very disappointed :(

Expensive and ice cream tasted burnt. The lady was hitting the mixer to the cup and I think it was overheating. I hope no metal shards got in it. My son and I had to throw them out after a few drinks. My daughters scoop of ice cream tasted a lot better, the only reason for 2 stars.
