They don’t ever give me what I Oder then when I get to work it’s wrong my fault for not checking the bag.

I asked a client (who happens to live nearby) to recommend a good breakfast place. I'm NOT disappointed!!

I really appreciated the vibe of this place... and loved the food even more!!

FOOD: I ordered the breakfast hash and peaches & cream danish. The hash had a great combination of flavors, and the danish was so creamy, flaky, and delish. 5?

SERVICE: Staff were super friendly and attentive. I love that staff can express themselves. 5❣️

ATMOSPHERE: Cool vibe. Chill. Love that there's a counter you can sit at and enjoy the fresh air. 5 ?

I'll be going back again... and more importantly: I will highly recommend to others!!

The people are lovely, the food was incredible, and they were decorated for halloween. We had their Standard Sandwich and the Chipotle Wrap. Both of these were quite incredible. The flavors were well balanced. Steamed eggs was a new experience for me and I don't think I'll ever go back. The seasonal Chai cider and their latte were mastercrafted as well. Overall, with a bagel on the side, we were set back about $25, an absolute steal with the quality and portion sizes of the food and drinks. 10/10 experience, this is my new favorite breakfast spot in KC.

I finally got to check out this spot last Sunday (a bit late in posting, but here it is!). A friend from the KC metro recommended it to me.

The ambiance is really inviting, with plenty of seating for everything from intimate meals for two to larger gatherings of five or more.

Their breakfast menu has some great options. After a 5K run that morning, I ordered the vegetarian sandwich, and it exceeded my expectations. The steamed eggs with pepper dijon mayo on toasted wheat bread were delicious. If you like a little spice, you can add sriracha for an extra kick, which I definitely did!

I can't wait to return and try their coffee and pastries soon!

Shoutout to the barista(s) at Mildred!

We ordered our food & sat down to eat on picnic tables outside only to be told by a city employee there was “human excrement” on the wall near the picnic tables. Not a great way to start our day in Kansas City but we walked around to the other side to eat outside. I had an orange cream cold brew which was more like orange soda with a hint of coffee & a breakfast sandwich. It did take awhile to get our food but I assumed that meant they were making it fresh. It was ok, but tastes like it was straight out of the freezer & heated up. Great location but not so great food & drinks. Cute place to work inside on WiFi with tables & chairs, but don’t sit outside for risk of human poop exposure.

Tuna sandwich so good it practically put me in tears. Lots of artisanal food. Espresso is a little dark, "consumer" for me. They've lost the single origin drip coffee. So as a coffee place, really taken a step back for me. But as a cafe, kind staff who remembers you, place is always clean, incredible atmosphere with a beautiful indoor/outdoor little fire area, and amazing food.

Service and prices here are amazing, as a non-local, but the food, ya just wasn’t for me! Nothing tasted fresh at all to me tbh - I got the vegan breakfast wrap and wouldn’t get it again

First time grabbing food from here and I’ll definitely be back. It’s a short walk from my office so I just did take out (I saw it’s a big place but since I didn’t stay, can’t really speak to atmosphere). They have a dedicated counter for to-go orders and I got an automated text telling me when my food was ready. It was ready faster than the estimated time said on my receipt, even during the noon lunch rush. The portobello panini was delicious, perfectly toasted rustic bread, good amount of balsamic, maybe will ask for extra arugula next time. Really well priced too, $12 for the sandwich and a side salad. Looking forward to coming back!

Good coffee and cinnamon roll. Didn’t care for biscuit and gravy.

I came here for the vegan breakfast wrap, after reading a review on it, I wanted to try it. Let me just say, probably one of the best vegan breakfast wraps I’ve had in this city, it was tasty! My mimosas was amazing, I could have had several of those. I also grabbed a cinnamon role for a friend for his belated birthday treat, they looked amazing I’ll have to get one next time I’m in. The young lady who took my order was super sweet and had a pleasant smile.

I sat at a tiny table near the entrance line by the window and it was perfect. A really great view, plenty passersby’s to watch. The restaurant was clean, I didn’t see any food on the floor and tables were clean. This location gets busy on Sunday, be prepared to wait in a line, however it’s well worth the wait!
