The service to start things off was good. The coffee came out quickly, but the iced vanilla latte I got lacked flavor in general, whether vanilla or espresso. I ordered the breakfast hash and they served it with cold shredded cheese. I'm not sure why you wouldn't take 30 seconds to melt it. It tarnished the texture of the entire dish. The chipotle sauce on top also lacked flavor. It was tepid at best. I'm not sure what the allure is of this place aside from the arugula. I wouldn't go back.

Excellent food, especially their vegan options. They also have really good coffee drinks and cholula!

Very limited options on top of spotty service. Worst part was that their drinking water was extremely warm. Not great on a hot summer day!

Best BLT and breakfast burritos in town! 😋

Enjoyed our visit to Mildred’s. Love the Tank 7 Mimosa.

First time here and we really enjoyed the food and our experience. I had the biscuits and gravy and my wife had the vegan breakfast wrap. Both were done perfectly and were very tasty. The coffee and iced tea were also very good. Service was friendly and attentive. This feels like a good place to sit and work or read for a couple of hours. We'll definitely be back.

Great place for a good breakfast

They don’t ever give me what I Oder then when I get to work it’s wrong my fault for not checking the bag.

I asked a client (who happens to live nearby) to recommend a good breakfast place. I'm NOT disappointed!!

I really appreciated the vibe of this place... and loved the food even more!!

FOOD: I ordered the breakfast hash and peaches & cream danish. The hash had a great combination of flavors, and the danish was so creamy, flaky, and delish. 5?

SERVICE: Staff were super friendly and attentive. I love that staff can express themselves. 5❣️

ATMOSPHERE: Cool vibe. Chill. Love that there's a counter you can sit at and enjoy the fresh air. 5 ?

I'll be going back again... and more importantly: I will highly recommend to others!!

The people are lovely, the food was incredible, and they were decorated for halloween. We had their Standard Sandwich and the Chipotle Wrap. Both of these were quite incredible. The flavors were well balanced. Steamed eggs was a new experience for me and I don't think I'll ever go back. The seasonal Chai cider and their latte were mastercrafted as well. Overall, with a bagel on the side, we were set back about $25, an absolute steal with the quality and portion sizes of the food and drinks. 10/10 experience, this is my new favorite breakfast spot in KC.

I finally got to check out this spot last Sunday (a bit late in posting, but here it is!). A friend from the KC metro recommended it to me.

The ambiance is really inviting, with plenty of seating for everything from intimate meals for two to larger gatherings of five or more.

Their breakfast menu has some great options. After a 5K run that morning, I ordered the vegetarian sandwich, and it exceeded my expectations. The steamed eggs with pepper dijon mayo on toasted wheat bread were delicious. If you like a little spice, you can add sriracha for an extra kick, which I definitely did!

I can't wait to return and try their coffee and pastries soon!

Shoutout to the barista(s) at Mildred!

We ordered our food & sat down to eat on picnic tables outside only to be told by a city employee there was “human excrement” on the wall near the picnic tables. Not a great way to start our day in Kansas City but we walked around to the other side to eat outside. I had an orange cream cold brew which was more like orange soda with a hint of coffee & a breakfast sandwich. It did take awhile to get our food but I assumed that meant they were making it fresh. It was ok, but tastes like it was straight out of the freezer & heated up. Great location but not so great food & drinks. Cute place to work inside on WiFi with tables & chairs, but don’t sit outside for risk of human poop exposure.
