Can't go wrong at Mildred's. You won't understand how good the eggs are on the burritos until you see them being steamed.

Had breakfast here twice on a recent visit to KC. The place was always busy but not over crowded. Will be back the next time I am in KC. Highly recommend the banana bread as a side to whatever you get for your main.

Cinnamon buns, guacamole toast, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito were all excellent. Their iced house coffee is good as well. Knocked off a star due to limited seating and when we ordered our coffee no one told us to wait at a counter (they deliver the rest of your food), so we ended up not getting that until we finally asked. When we did ask the server she just said oh they call your name (music plays loudly inside so no way you can hear unless you're right there) and leave it at the bar for you, and then she walked off.

Nice ambiance and the food was delish! My only complaint is that I ordered an Irish cold brew, the posted menu in the restaurant listed one price, but their system had a higher price. I assume the person who took my order was a manager or assistant manager because she wore a different color compared to the other employees dressed in solid black. She advised she couldn't give me the cheaper price despite what was posted and she didn't attempt to ask anyone if there was a way she could discount it. I recommended they put a sticker over the price at least, which someone did immediately after I ordered. Just a small issue, still worth a visit.

Fast, fresh, and delish. Everything was good. I’d def go back. The branding, menu, and environmental graphics look kinda like a Tad Carpenter joint, and I noticed his shop is right around the corner.I’m a nerd for that stuff. But the food backed up the cool artwork and branding.

I Have Been Looking To Visit Mildred's For Months And So Happy I Stopped In! The Photo Ops Were SO Cute And Created A Casual And Cute Vibe. I Visited Mildred's with My Best Friend After Her Long Morning Of Travel. Mildred's Vibe Is Inviting And The Servers Were Kind And Were So Helpful With Questions! We Ordered The Brisket Sloppy Joe And Chipotle Breakfast Wrap Along With A Snickerdoodle Latte. The Sloppy Joe Was A Special And It Was Decent. Considering KC Is The BBQ City I Was Expecting A Little More But It Is A Breakfast Spot So It Was Fine! The Burrito Though Was TOP TIER! It Was Flavorful, HOT, And The Textures Were Spot On!

Omg, this spot wasted no time with the cute decor! Immediately, as soon as you walk into the building, there are so many photo ops. There's a comfortable, friendly open vibe when you walk in, and the staff is super joyful and friendly. My best friend and I came for a casual lunch and we got the chipotle breakfast burrito as well as the brisket sloppy Joe. The burrito was a flavor bomb.. I can definitely see why it's a fan favorite, I mean I could still taste how particularly seasoned the potatoes were and how fluffy the eggs were. The brisket sloppy Joe was decent, but the flavor kind of got repetitive. My bestfriend bought a coffee, and she said it also got consistent with the flavor. Other than that, the vibes were great for students or someone who maybe works for home.

Our daughter had told us about Mildred's. It's a trendy breakfast/lunch cafe. Cool atmosphere. I ordered the guacamole chicken club and a cup of clam chowder. The clam chowder was really good. I didn't care for the chicken club. I didn't look at the menu closely and missed that they used chicken thigh on the sandwich. Personal preference. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. They got the ordered mixed up but fixed it quickly with no issue. I ended up eating half of the biscuits and gravy since I liked it better than my sandwich. The biscuits and gravy were tasty. Mildred's served the prettiest bacon. It was like picture perfect. Perfectly crispy and tasty. The service was great. No issues with the order mixup. If you're in the area, check them out.

I had such a nice time getting some work done and drinking my coffee. I had the vegetarian wrap and it was delicious. I'm always thankful for places that are just as nice as they look.

I usually get the hash but changed it up and got the quiche and wasn't disappointed! SOOO good! As always! Or course it was a little busy since it was a Saturday but we still found a spot to sit as it was well worth it. Such a fun spot!

The service is friendly and accommodating ! Although it was packed they managed to get my food out hot and quickly. I'm not a vegetarian but i love mushrooms, so i tried this panini . A cashier suggested to add the chipotle sauce on it and it did not disappoint! The lemonade was not good, I'm not a huge fan of bitter/sour lemonade. The outdoor seating was perfect for the beautiful weather!
