I came here for a group dinner recently, and it was great! Service was quick and friendly, and food was excellent, ESPECIALLY for the price point. Definitely recommend for a more casual sushi dinner!

Great sushi

This is our go to sushi spot on Missouri side. The waitress is always on top of things and very friendly. The sushi is made with good sushi rice and fresh ingredients. We usually order shrimp tempura rolls (kids favorites), monkey roll, las vegas roll or bmw roll. We also like their spicy crab salad and their miso soup.

We absolutely love eating sushi here! The staff are friendly, I love the aesthetic and the food is delicious!!!

Ting is amazing! She is a phenomenal server and remembers us every time. The sushi is always spot on. Every time we visit, we have quality food and great service.

Great sushi spot... Just wish they had more gluten free options/a substitute for imitation crab.

EVERY restaurant starts with five stars, in my book, according to my expectations of the meal. First, we walked in and it smelled strongly of fried foods. It was so bad that your smell stale and nasty after you leave. This results from not properly ventilating the kitchen, especially the fryer. I get it, you save money from not operating the HVAC to heat/cool outside air but, for me, it is unacceptable; lose two stars. The service was a little slow, but mostly friendly, but the sushi took more than 20 minutes. Most of the sushi and other food was good, even very good. Now, I've eaten sushi at least 20 times in Japan as well as all over the world, and hundreds of times in the US. When I mentioned to the waitress that the taste and consistency of the Tobiko was off (flying fish roe), my concerns were dismissed with no offer to take if off the bill. She made an excuse that it is something they sold a lot so it couldn't be bad. It had dripped orange water all over the plate (through the rice) and had a taste that made me not eat the second piece. It was FAR off the norm for this dish. The dismissive response of the waitress lost the restaurant another star. A minor irritation is that EVERYTHING on the dinner menu is al a carte, with no combo specials. We won't be back and we don't recommend trying Moonlight Sushi Bar and Grill.

Been going here for probably a year or two now! I can’t say anything but great things about it! Service is wonderful, and sure, I come fairly frequently, 1-2 times every month or two or so, but they have my order memorized to a T! I don’t even have to say much often before my food is cooking because they have it memorized!! Sometimes they even slip me a few extra pieces than what’s listed on the menu.

Food is AMAZING! Especially the Chief Roll. It is my favorite and I can’t get enough!! Expect to wait 10-20 minutes for your main course.

For a single person getting a chief roll and a soda, it costs me ~$15, but I like to tip well so I’ll add a little more, having me spend an average of $20.
Again, I have nothing but great things to say! Everyone should try it!

If you are on any kind of a schedule or have a time frame DO NOT go here. There is only 1 waitress and with only 3 tables ahead of us we waited almost an hour for 3 sushi rolls. Edamame was good, waitress was very nice, 1 of the sushi rolls were good, bathroom was dark and dirty. Even though this is one of the closest sushi places to us we will make the drive to go somewhere else.
