MT Plate is my favorite place to eat in the Crown Center/Union Station area. Great food at a reasonable price, with a plethora of breakfast and lunch options, including a well-stocked salad bar. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The service is fast. You wouldn't think that 2300 Main has a restaurant inside but the looks of it, but it's a wonderful spot to eat on frequent occasions. Try the buffalo chicken wrap. It's great.
This was my first visit and it was delicious! This meal fed me for lunch and my husband ate the leftovers for dinner. Generous helping. The butternut squash bisque was like a dessert soup... so yummy!
They have the best soup I have found downtown. I work at Union Station so I'm right next door. Soup changes weekly and some are so good I take a bowl home for dinner. Today was Gumbo loaded with shrimp, chicken, sausage and okra. Delicious. Best I have had is their shrimp bisque but all are very good. Salad, sandwiches, burgers all good. Daily specials. I haven't had breakfast there but heard their omelets, B&G and Friday homemade cinnamon rolls are good. Service...
