I stopped in for something quick to take back to work and got the lemon garlic fries and red beans and rice. Both were amazing! Like, I almost stopped back in for dinner, because it was that good. Clean, friendly staff, and quick service. I will be back, and soon, to try the Po Boys.

I ordered more than I needed, knowing I would have leftovers. The crawfish po boy is delicious and has so much meat that I have a meal just in the crawfish that isn't on the sandwich now. The Gumbo and Jambalaya are probably the best I've ever had, just the right amount of kick. I could have gotten out of there for under $20 but I wanted to try everything. I'll be back again soon.

Some of the best food in KC right here, the owners are super nice and i have never had a bad meal here. The fried basa and the lobster po boy have been my favorite so far but everything ive had is good. For sure stop by if youre close.

Foods amazing and ain’t nothing like this place in kc. Sure you can get similar cuisine sorta but it’s def not as good or priced as reasonable as this place is. What are you waiting on?
My wife and I are originally from Louisiana and we enjoyed the Po Boys, Gumbo and Jambalaya. The atmosphere is amazing. I highly recommend.
Had lunch here for my husband’s birthday with some family and friends. It was delicious! I loved the shrimp po boy and my husband loved the sea hog. We also enjoyed the okra and lemon garlic fries. We had pre-ordered a king cake and had some when we got home. It was amazing! We highly recommend going to Mudbugs! We will definitely be back!

We stopped in for lunch because we were in the area. I got the redfish special. It was well seasoned and the fish was cooked perfectly. All the ingredients were super fresh. Portions were generous and the staff was friendly! Music was a touch loud for my taste but all in all a great meal! We will be back to try other items!

Went here to get gumbo. What I received was a cup of broth. 7 skinny medallions of sausage. Never saw any chicken in the cup. The rice was a bit gray looking. The mud bug sandwich was acceptable but nothing more.

This was the first place I’ve tried Cajun in KC that it actually tasted authentic. I’ve been to other places and gotten six little pieces of shrimp on my po boy. They were generous here. We got to visit with one of the owners, who was super cool. We bought some gumbo to try, but she also brought us out a a sample of their jambalaya and it was delicious. The gumbo was too! I also loved that the restaurant was Mardi Gras themed. Would definitely recommend!

I got the shrimp po’boy with some red beans and rice. Needless to say the food melted in my mouth and exploded at the same time as they had the Bee Gees playing in the background. Hidden Gem the food is of higher quality than the place they are in, seriously worth the price ! Loved it
