Terrible customer service with a single phone call was able to eliminate as an option for my wedding. Make sure you work in the baking industry in order to have a conversation with them or they will laugh at you when you do not know details. They also laugh at you when you asked to sample cupcakes because they are above making small batches, and I guess I should have known that when I called.

My husband and I were thrilled with how our wedding cake turned out! Nellie even included a playful touch with our dog popping out of the bottom layer, knowing how much our dog means to my husband and me. Though Nellie is family, her talent deserves special mention!

I just love Nellie’s cakes - the location isn’t fancy but don’t let that fool you - it’s a hidden gem you don’t want to miss! My wedding cake was from here, as well as several other cakes over the years, and they’ve all tasted fantastic; always beautifully decorated, too. The white cake with white buttercream icing is the best I’ve ever had.
The strawberry flavored baby shower cake was excellent, great flavor and far from dry. The woodland creature cookies were also a hit. Will be back. Thank you

This is the second year I've used Nellie Custom Cakes for my son's birthday and a second year they hit it out of the park. Tucked away in Claycomo, MO, this isn't a flashy shop. Instead, they put the bulk of their efforts into great service, exceptional cake flavors and amazing designs. I've provided them with soccer theme ideas in the past and they reproduced them flawlessly. Definitely worth it for your celebration.
