Ordered take-out. Restaurant is 15 minutes away. Food made it home still hot thanks to the extra care that New Peking took to wrap our items.I ordered the Duck Hot Pot with tofu. It was seriously one of the best meals I've had in the last few years. Absolutely full of flavor and prepared to perfection.Egg drop soup was about the best I've ever tried, and it comes with an almost clear broth, not the neon yellow that you usually find. The crab rangoon were good, but the egg rolls had been wrapped tightly and had steamed. The outside was soft. I will remember to request that the bag stays open next time.Portion size of everything we ordered was more than adequate for multiple meals. We used to go to NP quite often many years ago, and I've always remembered their crispy teak duck. Will be trying that again in the near future.

Food was BLAND! I ordered the meat dumplings and chicken wings to be delivered and when I got them and actually tasted it, it was not worth it, the price or cooking the food. I won’t order again.

Well to start with the positive, their spring roll sauce was great, except they didn't include the spring rolls. The cream cheese in the crab Rangoon was rancid, my dog licks parts of his body I wont mention and he wouldnt eat it. I threw up for 24 hours after having just consumed a portion of what I ordered. I would suggest everyone avoid this restaraunt. It was terrible from top to bottom. Order a pizza.

I’ve never dined in. I always order delivery or pick up. The food is amazing. My usual order is egg drop soup, king pao beef and a fried rice.

Usually amazing. I always get an entree and a bunch of appetizers to share with my bf. Everything was pretty good this time except for the steamed dumplings. Not sure what's going on there, but they were uncomfortably large and the wrapper was VERY thick, and the filling was also very bland and kind of off-putting. Still going to order from New Peking again but will def skip those.

Come hungry or plan for your next several meals. There were copious amounts of some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. The service was great, too. Friendly and fast.

Okay upon entry theres some signs saying you've got to pay before sitting due to short staffing, it kinda all felt a lil sketch. It was dark, we were scared. But the hostess was super nice and friendly, and the servers were super fast with everything! The food came out crazy fast and the portion was unexpected, it was wayyy more than expected. The server was so nice to us and sweet to other patrons as well. They even gave us extra rice for home. We will definitely come back. Support these hard working folks!

The food at New Peking was decent. My father, sister, and I ordered a variety of dishes, including fried dumplings, Jam Bong, fried squid, jumbo shrimp, and pork ribs. It's worth noting that we were required to pay upfront due to a "shortage of service providers". I want to include that our visit took place around 2-3pm on a Sunday. **Atmosphere: 2/5** I must begin with the restaurant's most significant drawback--the ambiance. It was far from pleasing: chipped and dirty walls, a sticky floor, random chairs, and a cooler at the entrance, as well as a crowded hallway leading to the dining area. The menus were heavily worn and soiled, lacking any pictures. Furthermore, some of the food descriptions were vague, leading to unmet expectations. If a clean and inviting environment is a priority for your dining experience, I would not recommend this establishment. **Service: 3/5** The service was passable, though not exceptional. The receptionist at the front desk was not exactly rude, but their level of professionalism was below what one would expect in a typical American restaurant. Some might appreciate their straightforward and concise approach. After placing our order and settling the bill upfront, we selected our seats and occupied a booth. Once again, the furniture looked dated. The waiter was unobtrusive and fairly reserved. However, if you prefer a more talkative and sociable service experience, this may not be to your liking. **Food: 3/5** The food was decent but not outstanding. The portion sizes were generous, making it more suitable for group dining or takeout and online orders. As previously mentioned, we ordered fried dumplings, Jam Bong, fried squid, jumbo shrimp, and pork ribs. The fried dumplings were acceptable, with the accompanying sauce and broth enhancing their flavor. The Jam Bong was decent, featuring a flavorful spicy broth and seafood, although the noodles were merely satisfactory. The fried squid was passable, with slightly chewy squid and a less crispy outer layer than desired, but the jalapeño and salt/pepper seasoning added some flavor. The jumbo shrimp were well-cooked, but the sauce was basic and resembled that of sweet orange chicken. The "pork ribs" were deep-fried and somewhat plain, with the seasoning of jalapeño and salt/pepper carrying the dish. Both the squid and pork ribs were accompanied by an abundance of dry cabbage, which was less than appetizing. I did appreciate the large cups they had the water in, though. In general, the food was decent. My family and I have been on a quest to find an authentic Chinese restaurant to replace a beloved, recently closed establishment. Regrettably, it appears that New Peking may not fit the bill. However, it's possible that others might have a different experience by ordering different dishes than we did.
